I remember when i started playing ark, the old days. No hackers, no dupers, no tek, no broken dinos. Just chill. I've always enjoyed playing ark as a builder but seeing this hurts my heart. I hope ark 2 is better.

Luckily for us, ark 1.5 and 2 is supposed to be a step away from tea as they won’t be the ones publishing it and as such there will more than likely be a lot less overpowered creatures, items, and cheating going on. The first public cheat to be distributed was made by tea btw!!

its not wildcard, its snail games, they play and abuse powers in TEA

The fact they had to Ban everyone one, justifies that everyone in the tribe was the Victor, and Tea basically declared as the defeated by doing this. Everyone in the Ark pvp community can agree that Tea(Snail) had lost that fight and after the news spread, most players of conquest quit playing more or less.

It's very different. In conquest snail bans everyone and ruins their cluster. In wildcard servers they ban nobody and cheaters ruin the cluster. 😂

Ark 2 was never going to be successful

I played in TSC at conquest and this was the reasen why i stoper playing

There was a time when videos like this made me sad. Now they just make me laugh.

This took me back to my first day on pc made me try get back into it

I can't believe after all these years that the same bugs are still in the game from day one

Very unfortunate and probably the reason I won't be playing 1.5 with it being cross plat I have 0 faith in WC for official

I’m sure they atleast have the power to acknowledge this stuff is going on, and regardless of what power they hold it’s a bad look that they haven’t acknowledged any of this especially where Tea has been around and doing this shit since legacy servers. Giving them their own space (conquest) to rule over was a half measure that has now exploded back on them in full force.

Ark almost didn't happen (as far as I know), since someone else had the rights on it and wildcard got themselves in a lawsuit by continuing its development. This is where Snail Games got into play. They took over the Lawsuit, took over the rights and now they have basivally 2 iron grips on ark. If wildcard devs starts bashing Snail Games by "acknowledging the problems", they will simply be fired from their job and thats all. So far as I can see, wildcard are actually passionate about this game. They know that Ark is probably the most unique game that happened in the last 15 years. None of the devs want to leave this project, which is understandable, and I'm sure they are aware of all this bullshit. They are simply powerless agains Snail and I can tell you 100%, it is more likely that Snail dismisses Wildcard and replaces them by an other studio (if wildcard speaks up), than wildcard miracleously getting an other publisher and taking ark with them. Ark is the only functional game that is running under snail games. Just check out the other games that they published: Ark - The functioning one with 45k avarage players and peaks up to 250k Last Oasis - dead and forgotten, flatlining at 125 players for 2 years Pix Ark - dead and forgotten, flatlining at 200 players for 2 years Atlas - almost dead and forgottens, flatlining at 1.2k players for 2 years Ark 2 - the immagination that a Soulslike Ark might work.... yeah for sure... let me club a giga to death because i know its moveset? expedition agartha - dead and forgotten and probably never heard of by most people Ark Park - literally dead, all time peak 70 players Outlaws of the old west - dead and forgotten, flatline at 20 players Dark and Light - dead and forgotten, flatlining at 100 players, a game that had actually quite some potential imo followed by some other games wich the world has never heard of and a bunch of mobile garbage They know that Ark is their most valuable IP. They know that it would be better to "destroy" it than giving it away, because this will kill their stocks by showing how incompetent they are. So there is 0 chance of Wildcard putting up a fight right now, even if they wat to

They got wiped week 2 in classic, which is why the classic wipe was actually fun. They don't want it to happen again and they don't give a fuck anymore since ark is ending.

My hypothesis is they sold out half their game to the chinese because it is expensive to make a game and maintain the servers so they borrowed money from sharks who abuse it.

Wildcard got in a lawsuit and needed money so snail games bought stock of the company but it was to a percentage to where they owned majority of the game. And that’s exactly what they did, they made hacks in their own game to benefit themselves

but by giving snail these servers they have allowed this to happen. WC has said nothing about this yet and it’s been 2 or 3 weeks. I’m all for snail getting tons of hate but wildcard allowing this on official servers is disgusting as well.

@@masonbybee3564 they didnt "give" them these servers. snail has control over them because wildcard was basically forced to partner with snail games years ago or they'd have gone under. It's far more complicated then just taking it away, im sure snail games has a legal right to do what they want with that portion of the game

Conquest/classic are just unofficial servers which are on the official server list. Snail can cheat spawn things in ban people roll back their servers as they like. The enforcement and admin team are totally seperate people. The fact that Snail owns wildcard and the worst they do is have their own crappy cluster is actually a relief.

Yes, ofc. Banned the whole tribe for fobbing. They even spawn in ungodly bps to tea on demand. Watch shockists vid and the flak they kitted from tea.

My friend received a global ban that was unjustified and when they globally ban you there is no way to fight it or dispute it. This company is pure trash I don't know any other company that would not let you dispute with video evidence. The exploiters got off with no ban because my friend can't even dispute with the video evidence. The fate of this game is in the hands of the hackers, exploiters, and dupers. RIP Ark, Ark ASA, and ARK 2.

They've said before that they do not enforce conquest any more than they would an unofficial cluster. This happens almost every conquest wipe for years and years and people are always surprised. It only didn't happen on classic because TEA were wiped week 2. Wildcard has basically said, don't play on this cluster. It only sucks that it's on the official list.

They can't "get rid of" Snail games. Snail either has to let them go, or WC manage to buy their way out somehow. They aren't at fault. They got TEA off of officials and then ended up giving them their own servers to cheat on. If people quit playing Conquest because of it, TEA would have gotten the message that no one wants to play with them.

Only came here quick to leave a comment because the video popped up on my feed and the title caught my attention. Are people actually still playing that game after they announced they are deleting the game in a few months? If they are, then no, wild card and ark are not dead. They have you so addicted, that you will continue to play their broken game that they never bothered fixing over the last 8 years, even when they tell you that they don't care about anything you did or paid for, because it's all gonna be gone so that they can shove a whole new pile of sh!t down your throat and start the process all over. They don't deserve fans, but they have them. They deserve to go under, but idiots will keep them afloat, so they can go on making trash game after trash game, never really completing any of them, but stringing you along just enough to buy it all.
