Why Were All These Accords Made in the US?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Every one of these 5th generation Accord Wagons were made in the US. Why? Tbh I have no idea but hey this is how it drives after 260,000km.

Thanks for the video man! Makes me so happy to see someone else enjoying the wagon as much as me! Just a few more things as well, the engine and gearbox were both swapped in by me it was originally an F22 Auto

Thanks for letting me film with it!
I had a '97 US Wagon with the H22. Made the 140 kW OK but the 4 speed auto box absolutely killed the performance. It was no quicker to 100 kph than my non-VTEC '94 sedan. Pity really . . . Great to see you've done the conversion and unleashed it!

Awesome video man! Been waiting on this one ever since you came down. I'm best mates with the owner of the Accord and we are massive fans. I wanted to meet you and see if you were interested in a 1992 4th generation Prelude (which are where the Accord Wagons wheels are off of at the time). Guess I'll have to catch you next time!

Awesomw video on Accord Wagon with H22. I have 94 Homda Accord for 24 years and swap with H23A Bluetop with T2W4 in 2014. My Accord changed the timing belt, Exedy Clutch/flywheel recently and it run a real good mild power, love it. 😁

Cool to see more Accord Content and in Christchurch no less! Have been driving a 2003 Toyota Allex with the 2ZZ as of recent, with the auto unfortunately. Believe the H22A made similar power. Great stuff

The jdm ep3 type r was made in the uk and shipped to Japan and then have been shipped back to the UK 😅

@KiwiCarLife I think the jdm ep3's have a uk flag badge on the back to symbolize them being built in Swindon, UK it makes no sense to me 😅 I think they even built the jdm engine shipped them to the UK then shipped them back to Japan.

@Luke Mothug crazy isn't it to think the jdm ep3's have literally been around the world engine built in Japan shipped to the UK to be installed and the cars built to then be shipped back to Japan then to be imported to New Zealand and Auz 😂
The wheels fit it so nicely, are the ep3 type r wheels?

Ever since we found the wheels we have never been able to find out where they are from. It's highly likely they are based off the EP3 rims but in a 4x114.3 stud pattern instead of 5.

got 5th gen accord on 15s and it rides like a boat, but its quite comfortable on bad roads. That being said its h22. So cant wait to put that engine in an EK/EG.

I don't think US Accords are as rare as might seem. For certain generations later on, the Accords built out of the US were sold in the US as Accords and sold in certain overseas markets as the Honda Inspire (4th, 5th and 6th Inspire gens were re-badged US market accords). Oddly enough the first three gens of the Inspire were rebadged (or vice-versa) as Acuras in North American markets. #themoreyouknow
@KiwiCarLife
Жыл бұрын
Yes correct the inspire was the Japanese name for the US market accord, but they were built in Japan. This one was built in the US, for Japan. Big difference
