Thanks for all the info. The price is very reasonable, we figure $7.00 for haylage. We have a squeezer to stack the hay. The color and texture are very good. It gives me one more option this year

Farmer I knew very little about why you wrap it and thanks for explaining the who procedure. The hay looks good from this end. I did watch you and the farmers son wrapping these bales.

We used to bale wetter and wrap them to make silage bales, that's mainly for dairy cows.. nice video..

Can you store the big square bales outside like they do round bales

Most definitely, we store ours on a stone bed blinded with a bit of sand or on well drained concrete or asphalt basically anywhere pretty well dry. We have a squeeze attachment on the loader to handle wrapped bales as you don't want any holes, If you do then slap a sticky repair patch over the hole to seal it.

What kind of hay do horses need?

David Phillips thanks for the question horses need hay that was made dry so it does not get mold or have Dustin it very hard on horses. The hay you see would be perfect for horses if it was stored in the barn this hay usually goes top dollar at the sale barn. Thanks for the question again have a great day
