It maybe just the road you were on, but your wife seems like a fast driver, and given that is a new car is perfectly confident at driving along, what are to me, fairly narrow roads! I switched to electric last year after (what I call, for my big and less used car) twenty years of owning Jaguar's, and then a Maserati Ghibli Diesel. Living in a London suburb, you can drive into central London free of charge and park at a meter for a little over a pound! I have a Genesis Electrified G80 which I can say despite the previous cars I've owned represents the best car I have had. As a large luxury saloon which majors on gadgets and refinement, the benefits of electric propulsion are amply suited!

You are so right, electric is great for the right use. I wouldn’t want one if i were driving all over the country. When I have solar and battery storage sorted out, it’ll make it almost perfect. Oh, and yes, she doesn’t hang around….although the video did make it look a bit swift.

I keep seeing Electra’s with grey interiors, are there not many options? Reminds me of the early Cayennes that often came with grey interiors. Looks like they skinned an elephant imo 🥴

The options were limited on the colours for the interior and exterior. Helps with the initial launch and production. No complaints though, it’s still a cracking place to sit.
