I blame the auto industry for not popularizing hybrids. I understand not wanting to go full electric but most cars could be hybrids now without ppl noticing. It’s literally just adding a tiny electric motor to an existing engine. This could/should have been completely mainstream by 2010. Plus hybrid sports cars are badass.

A hybrid is better than gas but an EV (electric vehicle) has even better performance than any gas or hybrid, better mpg-e, almost zero maintenance and cheaper to run. Why settle for second best?
