I love how your hands are open to all the changes HE has to offer and where he send you! I pray he gives you the strength to keep that posture once your place sells and that you’ll have open arms to hand it over to the new owners because I can imagine that will take a lot of his strength and grace. I also pray that he blesses you with buyers that bring peace of mind that are all but sent from him. You may have only been your place for 2 years but I cannot begin to imagine how prayed up and prayed in the spaces are so bless the family that takes over and bless you for continuing to inspire us with your love, obedience and grace from the most high. I was really blessed by this video, although about the sale of your place HE found a way to speak to our hearts through your heart posture. Thank you two so so much! Bless you!

When you brought up not being like lot’s wife who looked back instead of moving forward toward the new thing, I started hollering!!! Amen I felt that. I will be praying for this home to bless the next person to live there and that your family’s next home is the right place for your family to grow in this next season! I have to move also so in a way I kind of feel like I’m going through this with you guys. God bless your family!

Tori and chad … God asked my husband and I to move from NY to TN FOR YEARS we ignored this calling because we didn’t want to submit this due to fear! We didn’t want to leave family and this year we submitted to the Lord and we’re obedient . And let me tell you the peace we have felt - is incredible!! Thank you for sharing that you are going through. This too!!!! I feel not alone and that GOD IS REAL AND AMAZING!!!!!!

Thank for for being so open in y’all’s decision making process! Something that I find so comforting when making major life decisions, is God has us regardless! Sometimes we’re so fearful to mess up, though God called us to never fear! & Also, we’re allowed to mess up, we have full permission. Knowing God has me regardless changes everything for my husband & I when making these major life decisions! I love y’all! God called us here too 🤍

Talking about how bittersweet moving is makes me so emotional! I grew up an Air Force Brat and am now married to an Airman. My parents always told my sister and I, “It’s harder to be the ones left behind.” Moving is such a journey! Home is definitely where your family and people are, doesn’t always have to be a specific place!

Like you, I’m having to trust God to work everything out and not really have a set in stone plan nor know all the answers myself and it is so comforting to know that I’m not going through this alone. Even going to the same state! Wow… Thanks for sharing this with us! It was so comforting and encouraging to me. I pray that God will bless you and your family during this transition and new chapter of your lives and that He will continuously encourage and reassure you while you are following His plans. Thanks again for sharing this!

We bought a one story 4 bedroom house we live it but i’ve definitely noticed that it’s more common here. And a lot of more new build houses are one story. So you might have to look into that a little further from downtown.

I live in a one story and grew up in a one story home. It’s a love hate relationship for me. One story limits space unfortunately. My home and my childhood home had laundry in the basement, and I long for laundry on the main floor. Both houses have a fairly small kitchen, and only three main floor bedrooms (extra bedrooms in my childhood home were in the basement, which was needed because we had nine kids in the house). I do like the idea of not needing to go up and down steps, but also with young kids who nap, sometimes it’d be nice to have them in a room away from the main living space so it’s quieter. When we had family visiting and we were talking late at night in the living room, it was disturbing my four year old’s sleep. Just some things to keep in mind :)

Chad and Tori! I've heard these words of wisdom...Don't make lifetime decisions when your emotions are very high. When this is happening, you can make bad decisions and then end up regetting them later. Lean not to your own understanding. Listen carefully for the Lord's voice.

  • @rebekahmcdermott5504

Hoping they’ve prayed on this. You do make a good point. I have made a big move from the UK to the US (I’m originally from the US but husband is from Scotland). I made the decision during an emotional period in life and I often regret the move. I miss Scotland so much. I trust now that God brought us back here for a reason, especially since there’s no obvious reason or ability to move back again, but making decisions like this when emotions are high in any capacity can definitely give you the “grass is always greener” feeling once the decision has been made and acted upon.

@@rebekahmcdermott5504 I could tell in their video that they were swaying back and forth about it. God is not a God of confusion. It can also throw their baby's schedule and routine really off and it can cause them to become stressed and then sick very easily. I think it's better from them stay rooted instead of moving so much and build a community where they live. They spent so much money building their home and pool. It's really up to God and them though. They have to do what is right for their family. I'm just helping them to maybe see things from another point of view and give them some clarity. They just need to be lead by the Lord.

@@godsdaughter_1234 Thank you for being truthful and using discernment on whether or not Chad & Tori are called by God to move to Nashville. Our hearts are desperately wicked(Jeremiah 17:9) and just because something feels right, that doesn't mean that it's from God(Proverbs 4:23). With that said, whether it's choosing your spouse, choosing your career, choosing your church/community, it all comes down to this verse... Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." I feel like majority of this decision is based off of their community in Nashville, and not necessarily the gifts and calling that God has given to Chad & Tori(Romans 11:29). Which is fine, but if that community moves because they're called by God somewhere else, then they just made a big life decision based on someone else's temporary residency(Luke 9:57-58). Also, the fact that they're being impatient about moving(moving before the holidays), even though this is a big life decision tells me it's not from the Holy Spirit(Psalm 37:7). We're suppose to wait patiently until we hear an answer from God(Psalm 27:14). But to your point, this is between them and the Lord and ultimately only they know what God is telling them through prayer(John 10:27). But from an outside perspective, objectively speaking, it doesn't sound like a wise decision(Proverbs 20:18). Ephesians 5:15-17 KJV "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."

Florida holds up back even him being an electrician it’s 6 years here, 4 years over there (in both states) (he’s been an electrician for 4 in a half) and now it’s time to adult and think about these things🥲 plus he’s turning 30 and I 26 so we really think we have to move before this year end it’s CRAZY. How did you make the TN community? Why were you unable to build community there in Florida? My husband and I have been trying to build local friendships, but it's not been easy.

They moved from California to Florida to now Tennessee. I wonder how long they will stay in Tennessee. It sounds like they may move a lot depending on leading. Tennessee may or may not be where they end up long term. Their child is still basically a baby. It sounds like it's more than just a house. They may want a different pace or lifestyle. Every state has its own culture. There is a lot we can learn from them. Their home could be a blessing to others. Thank you for your ministry.

If you're looking for a place that you can rent in the future, if it has an HOA, make sure that's something youre able to do. I know so HOAs won't let you rent out homes in their neighborhoods.

My husband and I have wanted to move to Tennessee for a few years now. Someday we will when it’s feasible. We cannot wait til God provides us with that opportunity. We definitely feel called there, and I’m trying to be patient in waiting for God’s perfect timing ❤

I love this couple 😊 but it’s kinda odd that all of the Christian KZreadrs are moving to TN at the same time. Is this just a coincidence or are they influencing eachother to move? Not hate but genuinely curious.
