    @@opliko I didn't watch the series or follow this closely, but to be honest 1 - 2 hours just isn't enough to properly rest. It sounds like just enough time to get yourself into relaxation mode and then have to jump right back into a high-pressure mode. In this particular case, I'd say it's probably better to just stay locked in and let the adrenaline carry you through your final games than to sit around for an hour or two (probably stressing about not wanting to get *too* relaxed, but still wanting to rest your brain for a bit).

    That awful 50 from chronic against alpha that went straight in is so ugly, you really don't expect that at the pro level. Probably the most embarrassing dunk i have ever seen, the way he slowly and casually flies up to the ball while needlessly air rolling, it just doesn't make sense. What was he even trying to do? I know you are trying to be fair and take some responsibility but it wasn't your fault, why would you ever expect a pro to get beaten so bad in a situation like that? Honestly anyone who watched the tournament knows the truth - chronic just isn't good enough for this level.

  • @hhaste

    @hhaste

    One play? Whoopdie do.. you could say the same for Jack at 6:53 where he should have scored the open net. Chronic is just fine. He's won a major, before. Before they lost Allushin, they won 3 out of the 4 regionals. They were neck and neck with G2 for best in NA..

  • @meghnaaaad

    @meghnaaaad

    2 күн бұрын

    @@hhaste It's not the fact that he made a mistake, mistakes happen, that's fine. The problem is that it's the type of mistake that a pro player should never be making, you should never be slowly air rolling to a ball like that and get dunked so hard, in fact something like this almost never happens in pro play. That jack miss on the other hand is perfectly normal and understandable, he didn't expect the ball to go in that in direction and had to react in a split second, it was just an unlucky bounce. The reason Chronic's performance is unacceptable is not just because of that one mistake either, he is consistently getting outpaced, looking like the slowest player on the pitch and looking out of place in these lobbies. Yes he won a major before but that was 4 majors ago, that's a lifetime in RLCS. He had one great split last year, but he has been consistently subpar since then. Honestly both jack and chronic have been a disappointment this season, they have both let firstkiller down who has been amazing as usual. But at least with Jack he doesn't get outpaced, he does his job competently even when he is not having a great series. Chronic on the other hand, the less said the better, truth is he is getting dropped after worlds, and I am sure he isn't getting picked up by a major competing team after that.

  • @SynsityGW

    @@hhaste chronic had an extremely poor LAN performance. idk if i'd say that he isn't good enough for this level - but if he brings this same level of performance to worlds i can guarantee you jack and first will be looking for a new third afterwards. just a reality. chronic is a good player but had he brought it to LAN, gen g had a real shot. he seems extremely comfortable and confident in regionals but once you have the mix-up of EU, middle eastern and south american teams who zoom around the pitch like crazy instead of playing the NA style of taking turns styling with the ball, he doesn't really seem to have a big impact in most games.
