In this video, we are talking about why and how we obtained our Drone Pilot license through the Pilot Institute and the FAA. This is the law for monetized you-tube channels. In addition, we share some of our new drone footage and a little story about how we crashed our drone shortly after we bought it! For anyone who is thinking about using drone footage on you-tube, this video is for you. Of course, I almost always include some beachcombing!

Thanks for the video. I’m looking for drone insurance as a recreational flyer…. Not much luck finding one for recreational use. Seems like they are insuring commercial pilots and the cost is very high.

oh wow, honestly have not thought about that. Are you looking for insurance for your drone, or for accidental coverage if you injured person or property? I think since we have a mini and cost is relatively low, we haven't pursued insurance, but if we have a bigger, more expensive drone, it would be worth it! (if it were possible to get that is)

@@TravelingTreasureFinderlooking for insurance incase I hit someone or damage property. I’m going to talk to my homeowners insurance and see if they would cover that.
