I'm very interested in following your adventures and learning about the reliability of this camper. I love the look, features, and rugged look of the Ember Overland series. I think Ember had a little rocky start, but it seems like they have worked out those issues, and maybe some of those issues were due to supplier quality during the covid years. Looks like you picked a good one! Thanks for making these videos.

Yes, I believe they have made some changes over the last few years to continue to make it better. We love ours so far!

Great RV. Great information. I had never heard of Ember. Are they newer? They did a great job creating this RV. Looks to me that an RVer definitely designed! Looking forward to following your travels.

It will probably be awhile before we can get out for months at a time but that’s the goal!
I’ll be interested to see a year review after you put some miles on her. I haven’t seen many great reviews on Ember’s build quality and customer service. Safe travels.

What are the sizes of the fresh, gray and black water tanks? Great looking camper, love the suspension!

Thank you! The fresh is 55 gallons and the black and gray are both 35 gallon.
How do you think that awning is going to hold up in windy conditions? I've always wondered about that and would be nervous a good gust of wind would break it.

We always err on the side of caution so we will retract it in if wind picks up. I think for regular normal wind gusts, it should be fine. We may get straps to strap it down just in case.
nice looking camper! do you still have your Runaway? Also, I saw the Ram truck you're towing with... is it 1500 or 2500? If 2500, did you go with diesel or gasser? Have fun!!

Thank you, yes we still have our Runaway. We will probably just use it for Runaway Rally’s. Our Ram truck is Rebel 1500. We chose the Rebel because it has a tow capacity if 11,200 lbs.
IS THE AIRCONDITION 12 VOLTS?

No, it is 110V. When we are not plugged into shore power, it will run off the lithium batteries and the inverter, but not for very long.

The Aventa air conditioner is made by Truma and is powered by 120V. It can be used off-grid via the inverter, but it’s very battery intensive (even with the 270Ah Battle Born LiFePO4 battery)!
