    It is as terrible as CDK. I still don't get why one would pick CDKTF instead of writing pure TF code, that is less verbose by its nature, to fight both terraform and the targeted language issues at the same time. Anything I do with TF well in CDK takes 10X more to make it, because now I am not only fighting terraform, but also fighting language syntax issues, typing, and so much more. The only reason I can imagine one picking CDKTF is that nobody in your team knows TF well, but knows, say, Typescript well, and you have some minor infrastructure changes to make, or you want your developers to dispatch minor infrastructure changes to their development environments, but just that. As a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer myself for the past 15 years, I see CDKTF pretty much useless in nowadays operations.
