Great video! I am considering a Kubota 2650. The reason so small is we are doing a small homestead and won't have the need for a lot of tractor most of the time. Mainly bush hog a few acres and work some mulch/compost piles. Then keep up a 600 foot driveway. How big a box blade do you recommend and do you think the 2650 can get the job done? I understand it will take longer with a smaller tractor but if it gets the job done I don't mind the extra time. Terry

I grew up farming and using a hydraulic pull behind type. Now, I have a small tractor and am trying to decide if this 3 point type is better or if it's better to go hydraulic...? What are your thoughts? I appreciate it

Most hydraulic pull type box blades are heavy and intended for large tractors. We can help you choose the best 3pt model based on the tractor you have and the results should be optimal. Our extensive lineup allows us to recommend the most ideal attachments for a wide variety of tractor makes and models. Feel free to give us a call or email sales@everythingattachments.com for more info. Thanks for watching!

DAMN! That almost looks like a combination of a box blade and a land plane. You should design a land plane with a swinging, locking, back that could serve as both. I do driveways here in Florida, and I always have to bring both implements to a job. I'll make a couple of passes with the box, then finish up with the plane. It would be so much easier to just have one that does both. P.S. My tractor is 30HP.

I’m looking to level some land, should I buy a straight blade or a box blade?

A box blade is much more effective when trying to grade/level land. Check out our full lineup of box blades here and feel free to call us at sales@everythingattachments.com for the best recommendation for your tractor! www.everythingattachments.com/Tractor-Box-Blades-Box-Scraper-Grader-Box-s/85.htm

Newbie here interested in buying a better box blade. You might want to start by telling people what a floating or fixed tailgate is. I'm not even sure what the tailgate is let alone what floating or fixed is.

The one in the video is floating when unlocked. Allows the back moldboard/cutting edge to hinge up. We can recommend the absolute best if you call 866-581-5818 or email sales@everythingattachments.com Thanks for watching!

I bet wet clay-style dirt could get caught up in between the two blades.

You don't need a floating blade just use a lock style typ box, if you want to cut the grade deep just tilt the box towards you to cut those old style boxes are junk.
