*SPOILER ALERT - Sam uploaded Zuse to his flash drive at the end of Legacy. How do I know this? Because the TRON:Legacy BluRay has a feature called Second Screen and they showed Sam uploading TONS of files, and one of them said Castor.Iso or Castor exe. . .

wow that's exciting news. I really hope it won't be a total reboot. Glad to see progress is finally being made

I'm excited! I hope it'll be just like seeing Tron: Legacy in 3D and being stunned by the visuals and soundtrack.

We need them to be convinced that this is going to be a huge movie or else it won’t get funds

Disney has had a bad rep the last few movies they made, hopefully they don't mess it up.

My siblings and I have been fans of tron since legacy came out, I pray this movie is a well written success.

I don’t care if Joseph is directing or if Daft punk is composing. Daft punk retired and we should respect that. As long as they refer to some past events or if a past character shows up. I’ll be just fine. This would also be the first Tron movie I will see in the theater.

I will watch it, and I will enjoy it. But I will be disappointed with the fact that Jared Leto plays the main antagonist. I was really hoping for Cillian Murphy, or even someone like Bill Skarsgard, who recently killed his role in John Wick 4. Hell, an option completely out of left field like Christian Bale or Andrew Scott could be outstanding. I just don't trust Leto to play a convincing "serious" villain, and I think that will be hugely important to the story.

I'm fine with it honestly as long as he doesn't ruin the story. It should feel part of the universe and take the world in a direction that feels natural. I think Cillian Murphy and Leto will both be in this film so it's not all that bad.

That's completely false. Tron 1982 had a budget of 17 million and made 50 million at the box office. Tron Legacy had a 170 million budget and made 400 million at the box office. These movies never failed and did good. Tron 3 wasn't made until now because Tomorrowland happened and Disney lost faith in these kind of films. Tron 3 could be bad but that'll be just because of story, not because people don't want it.

Disney admittedly has the best deal at 60% to Disney and 40% to theaters per each ticket but other studios at best get 50/50. Anyway; production costs do not list marketing advertising costs which are usually double production costs so. tron 1 50 million in tickets at 60% = 30 million to disney 17 million to make and 17 million to market advertise is negative 4 million in the hole BUT admittedly the merch video games etc made up for that lose. Tron 2 cost 170 million to make so x2 to take in marketing as well = 340 million...sales = 400.1 million at 60% = only 240.6 million to Disney = negative -100 million in the hole.

Tron 3 will be terrible because of the director they chose for it. If they really want to get a new director then they should select someone who's good at his field.

No it is not the right time for a sequel or reboot. All they can make right now is crap. Larry Fink and Blackrock will make sure. This is the worst time ever to make this movie. My faith is at absolute zero and i expect this to be crap as well.

I agree that 2015 when they originally intended to make Tron 3 would've been a much better time since it was 100% a direct sequel. I'm optimistic this will be better than we expect though. Not all Disney movies have been bad, just some. There'll be some good stuff even if it isn't top tier. People love to say "Legacy Sucked" and even at times the original. These exact people will say the same about this movie but if it has some good elements then I'd say it's worth the watch.

Yeah Tron 3 woke up from a 15 year nap it's really sad it took that long.

Really you're going to put an actor that suck in every movie😂 this is another Morpheus waiting to Flap.

No it wont a team of women actors have been highered to convert this into a super god girl movie along with a female director. Its going to be a woke fest flop......The man hating is going to be unbeleivable

I'm excited 😍 tron legacy and the tron Show was amazing. Still need to watch the original tough. However after playing kh2 I defenetly gona watch the orginal tron movie.

I'm soooo hyped for this. Hope it comes sooner and leaves an even bigger mark on me just like Tron Legacy.
