He would have a lot more then 4 catches if he actually caught the ball. I think he'll clean that up. Rookie Wrs usually drop a lot of passes. I'm excited for him too.

He had a visor on previously and in the first game. After he took it off, he had action. Saw this a few times posted. Perhaps this was a factor

If he didn’t have Bryan Hoyer throwing him the ball😂. We shouldn’t have played him at QB.
This kid is going to be great for us, He is our new Henry Ruggs, he will take the top off the defense, and speed absolutely kills. If we are able to get it to this kid deep one or 2 times at the beginning of the season he will keep the defenses honest and help out Davante, the hands will come and the Quarterbacks will get better at getting him the ball with repetitiveness, super stoked for Raiders fans!

He's one of those guys who may not put up big numbers, but his influence will be felt. Although the drops are concerning.

Yea, even Ruggs had trouble maintaining his speed in certain routes

Great analysis of Tucker
Great video as always bud. Excited for our future but after the past couple seasons I always remind myself to temper my expectations and just try to enjoy the new season with a realistic point of view. This team is completely different then what we are used to seeing so hope all goes well and we shock the world.

When he gets more consistent catching the ball he will be great. I have confidence because last game after the rz drop he bounced back and made plays.
Tucker can stretch the field, and we need that, it will open up the underneath routes for Adams, Meyers Renfrow and Mayer
It was just a few months ago, everyone was complaining about this draft pick. Now, I think everyone is content with it. Watch when he becomes consistent and a key role in this offense

I had the thought when I saw his tape after the draft, wow Tre Tucker is built in the same mold as Tyreek Hill. Time will tell, but he is off to a good start. If I were him(which obviously I am not) I would work on eye had coordination and ball tracking until I could not drop a ball ever. and his routes are the Fade, Crossing route and quick screen as well as jet sweep. Like you mentioned.
Edgar Bennett is a great coach. He'll get Tucker right over the course of the year.

Part of the problem too was that O'Connell did not look Tucker's way. There were times when Tucker was wide open, especially during the second game against the Chiefs where the offense did not complete a pass after Q1.

Keep doin your thing brother ☠ Hopefully he can work on the drops a bit but he looks really promising. Did he ever return kicks in college? Davonte had a lot of drops and mistakes his rookie year & the packers called him out going into year 2 & the rest is history!

Yea hopefully he develops some hands we know his fast ... but can he catch the ball , not just a threat running deep % he doesn't look like tyreek hill ,that dude has hands and quickness with the speed there's a difference..hopefully as a raider fan he pan's out . Devante taking him under his wing should help him...
Speed kills I love speed speed and some more speed like AL loved defending speed is a problem for any defenses safety has to always be worried about him especially if he has good hands this is what Henry ruggs was supposed to do to bad he didn’t get the chance
Let's hope he makes the team and gets enough reps. Don't wanna see another Keelan Doss situation.

Jamar Chase had lots of drops in his first preseason too, let's allow him to develop and then we can base our opinions more accurately.

Exactly. My friend, who's a huge Bengals fans was wary of Chase in his first preseason because of the drops and actually gifted me Chase for Higgins in fantasy 😂. That's why I've learned not to write off young WR based on early drops. Adams had drops early on in his career too.

Umm horrible comparison..Freddy had no speed but hands of "glue"....tre can run super fast but can't catch a cold
A receiver has to find his timing. The more reps, the better he will get.
Could use some stick em tho…hope he works it out

My question here is. Can Trey Tucker be our Tyreek Hill or our would've, could've been Henry Ruggs? Cliff Branch 2.0 and that's saying a lot. I just hope that Trey Tucker can be what we hoped we could've saw out of Henry Ruggs. We need speedsters to stretch that defense. It will open up the passing game and keep the Raiders two dimensional if not multi-dimensional depending how creative Josh McDaniels can be with the offense and how flexible our offensive players can be.
Yeah he might have super star potential if he could catch the deep ball.

He might be, ruggs was a freak athlete though 5’11 with a 40 inch vertical and great hands

@@lakergangornogang1446no. Ruggs ran a 4.27 at the combine which is like 5th fastest speed ever. Tucker ran a 4.4 at the combine and 4.29 on his pro day.
He's a blur!!!!!
I dont think he is athletic as ruggs but he should fill that roll pretty well. I think he will take over Meyers roll eventually.
i would be impressed if he wouldnt drop catches and AC4 needs to practice that deep ball its clearly the worst part of his game. He had 6 again later and under threw it

It's possible he is just as fast (maybe faster) than Ruggs. Kid has legit speed.
He is open every play. Open up the run game.
He drops like 50 percent his passes at least the last game he had over 3 drops

No concerns. It's his first pro games. He will work on it.
No doubt the dude has speed. That doesn't really matter if you have stone hands and can't catch the football. Fingers crossed (hopefully his aren't) and he can correct that important issue. Otherwise, he'll be living in a van down by the river!

Fortunately for us we have another receiver on the roster who came into the league dropping passes and worked his way into being the best at his position.
