Robbie and Cat I thought were fine, and as much as I liked Jade I feel like after season 1 she became a bit annoying, the mean thing kinda got hard to watch but the show was probably not meant to be binge watched, but she could clearly be cooler to people, she was cool to Andre, slightly Robbie, and cat

I’m looking back now and realizing Jade and Beck’s relationship was toxic af. Jade was too aggressive and insecure, partially because Beck just let girls flirt with him all the time without saying anything. I always thought Jade was a lot nicer when she wasn’t being jealous about Beck.

I love how this guy went from Tori is a bland Mary Sue with no character development to straight up saying she is evil.

Nakuru Kou not really, low poly refers to a game using less polygons (which can still look good btw depending on the art style) where as Low polish means they really didn’t care enough for their game to look attractive to the eye or even close to GOOD

Austin Leblanc Tori did not know when Jade wanted to have her play so Tori didn’t cancel it on purpose. Also the school could have told her that and said that the prom is not possible. Tori did not decide the date; the school did. Jade did not book her play first (and if you think she did, watch the episode carefully). But she decides to wreck it later on because she can’t seem to follow the “first come, first serve” rule. And rather than just simply telling Tori, “No, you cannot have it”, Jade just rudely yells “CANCEL IT”. That’s extremely selfish and egocentric. Tori wasn’t gonna let a bully push her around. She didn’t have to do anything for Jade. She owes NOTHING to her.

I honestly think Tori should have been an Ash Ketchum kind of character, at least in the early episodes. A character who struggles and isn't treated as if she's the best when she really isn't. Sadly that doesn't reflect the Hollywood idea of success, so they would have never had the balls to do that 😒

Honestly victorious as a whole was messed up. Jade and Beck’s relationship was way to toxic, Tori and Trina’s parents were never around and it was clear that her mom was cheating in that episode where the officer was talking about her and she was talking about him, Cat had a psychotic brother that probably made her act the way she acted, Andre had this crazy grandma, and Robbie coped with his bullying by using Rex. And It seems like the show wants to make Trina the attention hogger and the selfish one but it’s obvious that Tori is the same. And I don’t know why Jade and Beck just broke up. Like the relationship between them was not even a relationship. Kind of hatred. And it got annoying after a while seeing them fight all the time. Lol sorry this is so long 😂

we're not going to talk about how Jade intentionally sabotaged donated blood, which is probably a crime? literally just despite Tori? and I think this was before Tori even did anything terrible to her.

Yes Tori was a bad character. But why does everyone stan Jade? She was rude to everyone, she was violent and incredibly mean and toxic to Beck. I think Cat was the most underrated. She had a good voice, she was sweet to everyone, and had empathy. I have nothing against Jade, her personality was not a personality I would stan.

That’s why it’s a show and not real life. As a character jade is interesting and entertains the audience, mean yes but all stories have antagonists, otherwise there would be zero conflicts therefore no story. Most of us know that she’d be a bad person irl, that’s why we just like her as a 🖤character⛓

Tori might have done some bad things, but she is actually NOT the worst. - Helped Jade and Beck get back together. - Helped Robbie get Rex back from a 12 year old boy. - When Sikowitz was sad, she tried very hard to make him happy again. - Made Rex come back to life. - Didn’t kiss Beck after He and Jade broke up. - Helped Andre stop “liking” Jade. - Helped Jade and Cat on their revenge on Hailey & Tara. - Helped Trina get back in Hollywood Arts. - When Cats favorite actor “died”, she drove to her house to make her go to her house to light a candle for her death. Tori is amazing. She’s not the worst. She helps her friends a lot. So I believe so she is amazing. (Not my comment: HEAVILY INSPIRED BY: Illus)

I hate this meme of Tori being the worse character. It was a little funny the first time but now it's just out of control. She's a teenage girl in Hollywood, of course she's gonna act a little selfish. Everyone on the show is like that but everyone gangs up on Tori and Victoria Justice as a consequence of that.

the mistakes a person makes doesn't describe them as a person. like nobody focused on the mistakes Jade made and instead praised her for doing bad things while everyone hated Tori just because of the mistakes she made. smh

That's because not only does Jade have personality and a character unlike Tori but also when Jade does wrong it's acknowledged. Tori is treated like she can do no wrong. A show where everything the main character does wrong is treated as OK just because they're the main character is badly written. In well written shows when a main character does wrong they're shown to be wrong regardless of them being the star.

I remember 9 year old me being DESPERATE for this game.

maybe if we sacrifice a goat, tori will let release beck from her evil spell :O

Okay but like I know she was the MC And i can respect that But WHY was she the MC I have nothing against Victoria Justice, but there is NO reason Tori should have gotten all the leads and all the solos Like Tori wasn't even the best actress/singer Not to mention The play she wrote???? The one with Trina as an alien??? Horrible. Why would she put her sister through that. She intentionally kisses Beck in the first episode, in front of Jade (no wonder she hates you jfc) Her locker wasn't unique and kind of dumb ( #justiceforandreslocker ) The episode with Ponnie? Iconic. Exposed Tori for the horrible person she was. She deserved the trauma she was put through. Tori Vega stole into my house in the middle of the night and made me watch her stand on my furniture while she sang Make it Shine for 8 hours straight.

Rewatching it on Netflix makes me cringe whenever Tori does anything

They shouldn't have written a new character for Victoria's show. This show should've been a Zoey 101 spinoff about Victoria's character, actress Lola Martinez moving to LA to go to a performing arts school after graduation from PCA. The Plot of the pilot should've been: Zoey 101 recap to remind us that Lola is an actress and used to be quirky, but her parents sent her to boarding school because she was weird and at the school her friends thought she was weird, so she started acting more like them (Zoey and Nicole), and became a closeted actress. She hasn't been herself in years. She moves in with her mom Mrs. Martinez (who should've been played by Roselyn Sanchez since she's Puerto Rican like Victoria) in LA and finds out that she got married to Mr. Vega and that her childhood rival fellow actress Katrina Vega (who acts more like Rebecca from Zoey than Trina) is going to be her sister. She meets Andre who performs with her sister sometimes, but gets treated like crap by her. Lola applies to the Performing Arts school (either called Hollywood Arts University or Los Angela's Academy of Performing arts) that she really wants to get into, but her mother doesn't support her acting career (never did) and makes fun of her when she makes a play with Andre. Her mom also reveals that she can't afford the school, (Katrina is also auditioning to go) but she won't pay it because she wants Lola to do something more practical with her life and thinks her mean girl half sister is a lost cause spoiled by her new husband. Then Lola goes to the school and finds out that they awful full scholarships for triple threats (singer, dancer, and actors). Lola is an actress first and foremost and has been acting since she was a little kid (which was implied on Zoey 101) but to get the scholarship she decides to take singing and dancing lessons. Lola applies to the school, but when her and Katrina's acceptance applications get mailed Katrina reads Lola's and changes the date of the audition on it. Lola also gets a job to save up in case the scholarship doesn't work out. Andre becomes her singing teacher (the guy who played the counselor or someone really funny could've been her dance teacher). Then the show should've had a montage showing Lola taking singing and dancing lessons, intense training, everyday for the whole summer. As well as working a crappy job and saving money. Then on the first day of August Lola goes to her audition (where she meets Robbie in line and sees him getting bullied by Jade, who's acting like Janice from Teribethia and Lola sticks up for him, pissing Jade off). Anyway, she gets to the front of the line, to register for her audition (that she's been training to do and planning for months), only to find out that the date she received of her audition was wrong and her audition was supposed to be two days prior (because her step sister snatched her). Lola is devastated that she got the wrong date for her audition and can't get in now, but Andre (Lola and Andre practiced their audition together during the summer) has an idea that they can combine their auditions, so she can go on stage and perform with him, when it's his turn. Lola initially refuses not wanting to take his spotlight, but begs a teacher to give her another chance because she really did get the wrong date and they ask if it's okay for her to join Andre's audition. They don't get a clear answer, but Lola says she'll join him even if they don't take it as her audition too. She can try to get in next year, after all. When it's Andre's turn to audition they have a brief skit to show off both their acting abilities and Andre starts a song showing off his singing and pano talents, but someone (Jade) switched the song mid performance and messes up the light, sabotaging the performance. That's when Lola gets an idea. She tells Andre to play "the song they wrote together" and that's when the performance of Make it Shine begins. Her mother didn't know she'd been taking singing and dancing lessons, which is why her mother, Mr.Vega, and Katrina are so surprised by her performance. Then after the performance Lola feels happy and free because it's the first time she's been in artsy self in years. She goes to the judges/administrators and one of them is stern because she missed her audition date, but the principal was blown away (because she saved a sabotaged performance) and tells her they will count the performance as her audition as well as Andre. Skips to one month later she and Katrina are starting to get along. Andre comes calls and says he got in. Lola and Katrina get their letters on the same day and find out that they both got in. A triumphant moment since Lola worked so hard to get into the school with the odds completely stacked against her. But there's a catch: she and Katrina have to be roommates. Ugh. That was part 1. Part 2 of the pilot should've gone the way it did (her first day of school, meets Beck, Cat, Sicowitz, gets embarrassed by Jade during improve) then comes back the next day and gets back at Jade. Anyway, the show would've been better if Lola was the main character instead of Tori because Lola is an actress, not singer. Lola is also ambitious and can be goofy and wacky as well as girly and smart. Lola is laid back, bubbly, spunky, can be quirky, ditzy, feisty sassy and is likable. Everything Tori wasn't. The show also could've had episodes where Lola uses her acting skills to go undercover like she did in an episode of Zoey 101 where she pretended to be a boy. They also could've had an episode where Lola really wants the lead in her favorite play, but Cat gets the part. She's a little jealous, but supports her friend and ends up having fun playing her part. In a certain notorious Cat would've dated her ex Vince, but instead of kissing him, he flirts with and kisses Lola, Lola gets mad and pushes him away and Cat sees his and misunderstands. Lola would have fit in much better with Beck (both laid back), Cat (both have ditzy and girly sides), Robbie (both quirky) and Jade (Lola use to be gothic, but started dressing more girly like her friends at PCA. Instead of being unambitious, clueless about theatre, and having everything handed to her like the way they wrote Tori, the writers should've wrote Lola as a bubbly and ambitious actress (who always knows who the writer of the play is and knows every theatre term) who works hard to get roles in plays and doesn't always get the lead. They also should've had Lola become a writer and director. And show could've acknowledged that while Lola is one of the talented kids at the school and one of the best actresses, there are much better singers at the school, acknowledging that Cat and Andre were singers first and foremost while she wasn't. They should've started off with Jade as the mean girl, but they eventually become friends (which they basically did) when they get to know each other better and had Katrina be the mean girl, since Daniella Monet has always been good at playing prissy mean girl. Lola should've had a girly/manic pixie style combining the way she dressed in season 2 and 3 of Zoey 101, combining Lola's former gothic style with the new girly style. She should have grown as a character with her journey being that after years of hiding her "weird" side to please her friends and family, she goes to a school where people are as weird as her and Lola learns to embrace her inner freak again. Lola also could've learned valuable lessons in some episodes (Like Miley in HM) and grow as an artist becoming a singer and dancer as well as actress and eventually writer and director. Ambitious, quirky, hard working, bubbly Lola would've been a way better protagonist for the show. Way easier to root for and a better role model. Andre, his grandmother, Cat, Jade, Robbie, and Beck were written perfectly, but with Lola as the leading lady Katrina should've been written as a snobby, smart, preppy, devious mean girl like she was on Zoey 101 and Suite Life so she could've been the other antagonist besides Jade and unlike Jade, an unlikable antagonist. Lola and Beck would've been a good match. Then the show would've been perfect.
