Thortalk, your channel has turned me into a Thor fan. I used to misunderstand him and thought he was the most boring Avenger. Now I have read dozens of Thor comics and he is one of my favorite heroes. I now understand. He is the MIGHTY THOR!

Holy Thor. This video came on my feed in perfect timing. Just got my lunch and was wondering what video could be the best for me while eating. You, my friend, made my day with it. I do play Smite and obviously I do main Thor. It's amazing how all of them are connected and yes, I did main Hades on God of War and also on Smite, his lore is the best. I wonder what would've been of Greek Mythology if he went Skyfather instead of Zeus. Always cheering you my man, thanks once again for providing great content, from the God of Thunder!

This should probably explain how Thors mother was able to tell that he wasn't Thor from that timeline in endgame . As she knew it .

That's the MCu where they ruined his lineage. Frigga isn't his mother in the comics. Gaia/Gaea is.

Thor's true lineage explains why he was so powerful as just Prince Thor and not yet King Thor "Thor Force". Odin himself preordained this, so that he would have an heir that would surpass him in all aspects of powers and abilities once Thor became King. Everything and anything Odin "Odin Force" the all-father, Skyfather who's powers as King was inherited through his entire bloodline by birth right, from his grandfather King Buri who was the 1st Asgardian and also 1st to wield the life force of Asgard to his father King Bor's powers and abilities that King Bor inherited himself from his father King Buri added to his own powers. Then Prince Odin inherited those powers plus the "Odin Force" which was created when Odin also inherited his two brother's Vili and Vé's powers and life essences who were both Princes of Asgard at the time of their demise like Odin was as well before King Bor, their father passed on. So, King Odin inherited all the powers and abilities of his grandfather, father and two brothers combined to his own vast powers as Prince and then became the third King of Asgard, hence why Odin was the most powerful King of Asgard surpassing the two previous Kings and two previous Princes. Making him a powerful cosmic power within the power balance of the universe. So what does this tell us about Prince Thor and eventually King Thor? It tells us that when Odin passed away, Prince Thor became King Thor "Thor Force" and inherited his entire bloodline's powers and abilities through his father by birth right. Theoretically he inherited his great grandfather's powers/abilities/essence and Asgard's life force. He also inherited his grandfather's powers/abilities/essence plus his uncles Vili and Vé's powers/abilities/essence as Princes of Asgard. He inherited all these powers/abilities/essences plus his own father's immense powers combined with the "Odin Force" plus the powers he inherited from his mother, the Eldest Goddess Gaea/Jord who was more powerful than Odin himself. Hence why Prince Thor was so strong and powerful as just Prince of Asgard. So take all the powers/abilities/essences plus the Odin Force, his powers from his mother and add all those to Thor's own vast and almost incalculable powers and you get a King Thor "Thor Force" extremely more powerful than any King/Prince before him and that's before he became "Rune King Thor". So, anything Odin "Odin Force" could do, King Thor "Thor Force" can easily beat since we can't even calculate how much more powerful he is over his father Odin. All these powers that King Thor inherited from King to King, Father to son, Mother to son makes King Thor "Thor Force" probably the most powerful Skyfather of them all, a real cosmic entity that's part of the balance of power within the Universe more specifically the 9 realms, until he becomes Rune King Thor which brings him on par with level tier 1 cosmic entities and a cosmic being like his father before him but much more powerful than his father on all levels. *P.S Another great explanatory video on your part, well done!*

Pretty sure Orpheus and Persephone would disagree about Hades being the nice one. Can't really recall many tales of Hades helping out. In Greek mythology it seems all the gods were jerks to varying degrees (except maybe the titan Prometheus), and the hero's of Greek legend (usually half gods) were the the good guys (Hercules, Odysseus, Perseus, etc...) P.S. Thanks for bringing light to the mighty Thor, don't always agree with everything you say, but as a Thor fan for 30+ years it's nice to hear someone's thoughts on him. (I do agree that Jason Aaron sucked and Cates is doing Thor justice)

I think Jason Aaron’s retcon fixes this. Thor’s mother is a human mutant who *hosted* the Phoenix Force. So while the Phoenix Force does think of Thor as her only begotten son, Thor didn’t inherit half of his traits from the PF - he was just exposed to the PF when he was in the whom. Thor received half of his traits from Odin - which is a mix of Asgardian and Frost Giant, and the other half from a human with an X-factor. Thor being the son of Odin and Firehair makes complete sense in terms of his power level and power set. It makes sense that the son of a Phoenix Force host would be Odin’s designated heir for the Odinforce.

I mean according to Marvel canon (unless i got it wrong) Gaea is the mother... or better common ancestor/matriarch of all Marvel gods so... what ?? They all have the same mother but different father ?? Either Gaea sex'd a LOT (which she did considering she mated with planet Earth in order to get a son powerful enough to yeet the other Elder Gods from the universe) or at some point some god/goddess had... incest (which is NOT something i want to consider a possibility).

The one thing we know so far is that he should rival Galactus in terms of powers. So if he rivals a well fed Galactus, he technically should be multiversal in terms of powers.. Though I would put him closer to maybe universal if not only multi galaxy level.

Shiva + aditi both formed unity(singularity) when shiva separated himself from aadi (shakti, aditi) universe was formed .bhrama was given task to form the universe and vishnu took charge of life & shiva (separated from energy) took charge of death and energy( aditi , aadi shakti) is flowing within us .
