Things I like about your channel (in case you want to keep it that way): - 10 min max videos, usually 5-6min (very important for me) - no banter, no talking endlessly about your personal life = a professional channel if i may - nice soft voiceover - no pushing products Thank you for the tips!

Notes: 1. Use a damp sponge to apply foundation. 2. Let the foundation set for awhile. 3. Blot face with tissue paper to get rid of excess residue. 4. Apply tissue paper on skin and apply powder on top of tissue paper using a compact brush. 5. Apply setting spray on sponge and lightly dab on skin.
I just love how dedicated and hard working you are. You're so unproblematic never involved in drama like so many beauty influencers. Never change smitha xx

Just tried this today and it absolutely works! So far...5 hours into the day and my foundation still hasn't moved! Aside from the foundation rubbing off on my nose due to wearing 😷, the foundation around my cheeks stayed in place. Will be using this technique from now on. Excellent tips as always! Thanks Smitha!
Your skin looks so beautifully natural! You are my go-to for easy, life-proof makeup tips!
The makeup lasted really well and is beautiful, I'm definitely giving this technique a try. 💜
Love how you’re always trying on different techniques! Thank you for sharing them. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄
I learned to use this technique years ago for lipstick, and it works like a charm. Great idea to use the same technique for foundation! Can’t wait to try it.

I was looking up how to complete certain eye looks and came across your channel. Love your videos. Very simple, to the point and you give amazing tips! ❤ Thank you for making beautiful makeup looks less daunting to complete.
A very recent makeup tip that worked miracles for my fussy skin, I got from another KZreadr make up influencer, Zabrena was adding corn starch to my powder. She used Coty loose powder, which is what have too and it worked amazingly! I've tried a variety of powders for setting and I thought they made my skin look dry and my wrinkles more prominent. This trick makes my skin look even and natural, not at all dry! Just thought I'd share...
You’re absolutely stunning, Smitha!!!! I love that you don’t use bronzer, blush, and/or highlighter in this, I feel like when I do my makeup, I still have to put all those products on me..I think your makeup is sooo pretty!!! Thank youu!!!! Much love to youu!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Short, sweet and straight to the point.... just luv it
Thank you for the refresher. I remember this technique years ago and it is very effective. I get so caught up on the trends of makeup application and forget how the basics are just as effective and creates a beautiful finish!! Thank you for your skills!!

Totally agree with you. I'm the same about forgetting basic techniques 😊
Love thus technique. Have been using it for years to set my lips whenever I apply a dark colour lipstick that tends to bleed. Thanks for introducing this technique to be used on the face Smitha. Will surely give it a try. Also needed some help with how to properly set the Huda Beauty Over Achiever concealer which I recently purchased. It is quite heavy and tends too look cakey and dry after I set it with loose powder.
You are a good example of the power of makeup! Beautiful.
I want to try this! Looks so natural and beautiful, thank you for the tips.

Love you Smitha!!! I’ve learnt so much from your videos. But the way you do your videos is honest, knowledgeable and on point! Love from Australia x
Smitha all I can say is wow. I am literally blown away right now, because I have tried everything to prevent my makeup from breaking up, creasing and looking cakey. I tried everything from using less foundation, using a skin tint, changing my primers. Even though I would set my foundation with a light dusting of powder and use my setting spray to seal the deal it would still start to look cakey after about 5 hours. I am going to use your technique tomorrow morning and I will let you know how it holds up. Thanks for sharing

I have been following for ling now but this is,by far, the best, most knowledgeable, apt in today's scenario and what not. Smitha ma'am, you are truly a blessing to the self makeup lovers.
Hi, Nice video. I have recently started watching your channel. I have a few questions: 1. How long to wait between applying moisturizer, primer, colour corrector, concealer and foundation? 2. When you use a damp sponge to blend foundation, doesn't it dilute the foundation and other products? 3. How long do you blend each layer of product so that they complement each other? Thank you
Haven’t seen this technique before. Can’t wait to try it. Any suggestions for avoiding caking of the powder for the under eye concealer?? Thanks!! Your videos are the best!

Blotting before setting helps with concealer, too. I’m going to try the tissue before powder to see if it also works with concealer.
Wonderful! I can’t wait to try these techniques. Thank you so much for your helpful videos and the gorgeous effects you achieve.🌸
This is so natural yet polished and easy! I think that even I can do this!
I wish I could do this for my skin but I'm 60 and my skin is very dry with fine lines and wrinkles so powder always is going to set in those unfortunately
Tip: Don't use textured Toilet paper cause it can totally ruin your base make up. Use non-textured one.
