Why THIS Point Held So Many Speckled Trout

Спорт

I love fishing new areas because they hold a wealth of possibilities. This week, after a stay at historic Woodland Plantation, I went exploring a found speckled trout stacked up adjacent to a point in the marsh.

Great video Todd, I like the fact that you limit yourself to keeping 10 trout, we all should do the same!

Thanks for pointing out you limit at 10. If you fish frequently, 20 filets are more than enough from one trip, not to mention the freezer fills up quickly. Awesome video as always!

Really nice video. I really need to go home to Louisiana and fish. Definitely have to get out in the Marsh soon. I grew up 45 mins from some of the best saltwater in the world and only did freshwater. Fell in love with saltwater after moving to Texas. Go figure!

in my experience, if I'm foul hooking them, but getting a lot of strikes, I have the right bait, but the wrong color. I've heard it means your matching the hatch, but it's slightly off in color or pattern and the fish have enough water clarity to get a closer look at the bait.

Todd, great channel. Just looked up your bio in the "about" section. Outdoor writer....knew some professional backround. Your delivery is VERY articulate. Plus, you fish a bait caster the rational way, cast with Right(dominant arm/hand) and reel w your non dominant side. That ridiculous switching to hold the rod with the weaker arm and reel w stronger side, is. .....ridiculous. Keep up the good work .
