This game is 5 years old now and it's still my favourite game! Remember the times when Anakin could take on an entire team, just imagine how funny it would have been if Dice had decided on the last Scarif update, to make him OP again and then said "see ya guys". 😂this video of illegal things in BF2 would just be about him

A good Anakin with the right cards and playstyle can still be OP though. Running Tenacious and Steamroll together makes Ani tough to take down

So for those who are wondering with a fully maxed out flesh is weak Star Card Grievous has a static health pool of 1160 that's more than Vader captain phasma and Yoda with all three of his health-boosting star cards plus all these three health increases are on timer and if you want the math to figure this out it's quite simple Grievous has 800 health for every 10% of his health missing he gets a 5% damage reduction that adds up to a total of 45% damage reduction when he's at his lead final stick of reduction health 45% of 800 is 360 800 + 360 is 1160 and then you can do what I do and be an absolute Menace when I'm play Grievous and combine flesh is weak sith trained and beating heart entropy you've just made a 1160 health 160 damage per-swing (190 to the rear) 350 healthpoint regenerating unkillable demonic clanka bruv

Hi I think that works different, the damage itself gets reduced so you have to DIVIDE the 80 hp-s with (1-5%) then (1-10%)... so it gets 1070 hp total. Which is still much but not better than vader. Only the health bar shows bad data because of different damage redux. I think the health regen cards more OP. To my opinion the spider is not a good 1v1 duelist. Peace

I'd still argue that Vader has greater health and in general he doesn't take damage as easily as Grievous does. His fueled rage not only gives him more health but also gives him damage reduction too. Although I don't know the exact amount I'd say that he still beats Grievous when it comes to health. Plus his choke ability also gives him damage reduction meanwhile none of grievous abilities do that unless you use the card for less damage taken while using claw rush or less damage taken while using unrelenting advance. Now imagine if Vader had a card like Grievous lol

These duels were so satisfying and in every turn i was thinking like just die grievous but all of them ended perfectly especially on Anakin vs Grievous i started to think that he may lose this one but you played wiselly. I hope you get the succcess you deserve and I'll be waiting for the next duel video.

I really love this game, its fun to duel friends and i love 1v1ing in this game. But this game is to unbalanced to have fair duels, the hitboxes are off, unfair star cards and lets not forget the toxicity in this game. And that is exactly the thing that makes me sad, im a huge Star Wars fan and i love this game at the same time as i hate it. But anyways, i couldnt agree more that flesh is weak is a stupidly op star card. I've ran into so many players in hs where players have that card on and i struggle sometimes to kill a flesh grievous.

It's fun but yes the game is straight unfinished and most of the time skill isn't even a factor because there will just be some BS that happens.

Whoops, I guess Grievous got too distracted by Rey’s looks 😏

I had a situation like that recently as Luke. I out-parried the Grievous's team and then kept parrying their clash rush to end the HvV match.

You should be able to run either flesh or beating. When you run both is when it gets difficult. But grievous is every easy to parry and counter. Lukes dash goes right through his block if u aim properly

I completely understand not being allowed to use cards like flesh is weak in comps, but cards like that CARRY in co op grinding.

honestly im good without cards but when im dueling i take off guards for vader,but obiwan,douku and greivous i keep all the cheap starcards onn,it just doesnt seem as overpowered to me but i definitely agree thats it indeed is overpowered,plus im too lazy to take them off and put them back onn when i encounter toxic players

Yeah a while back I fought against a duo that the one ran flesh and ran all game every round and I got him to 1 hp constantly, his teammate would force choke/throw every time I was about to get the finishing blow. They got super toxic and even though I out skilled them both they got the win. I took a break from battlefront after that.

Nice finish with Ani. IMO Ani is the most entertaining to watch and play as for duels since you have to play smarter with stamina management. I'm sure you know this but when I'm low on health as Ani going against a Grievous, I'll charge Heroic Might instead of trying to block/avoid his claw rush since the damage gets absorbed and it won't knock you down.

The best thing to do with anakin is to not parry as much and you'll be fine

I actually got ridiculed by an opponent for beating his max Obi-Wan with a blaster character, twice. Said it wasn’t a “fair fight”. Like, excuse me for playing a character that you can’t abuse block breakers on 🤷🏼‍♂️

As a max level grevious main I can tell its bit op in 1v1s but still not that much to be banned especially in hvv flesh is weak works perfect hes a jedi hunter tho he HAS to be op anyway

If there’s gonna be a battlefront 3 Vader Kenobi and grievous really need their cards to be changed lmaoo For example kenobis health regen card could stay the same but increase the time it takes for his health to come back by a few seconds. To make him more defensive. Or just remove the card completely as his health regen is already really good. Flesh is weak could be reworked to only work whilst he uses any of his abilities. Vaders extra health card should cap at 900 not 950 and damage reduction card should be 15-20 not 25.

Ness finish with Anakin, FIW should definitely be banned for tournaments and personally I run tournament cards whenever I duel, even if the other player isn’t. I’m usually more skilled anyway, so it doesn’t really matter lol

I don’t use flesh actually when I started playing this year I only used it for awhile I think. I use sith trained because it’s so good imo, bonus health, and claw rush damage reduction. I’m kinda tempted to use it and see how long I live. But idk I feel like it can be annoying maybe fighting a grievous with it but I think having kinda bad abilities balances it. Thrust surge is useless almost always unless you do the block breaker one and even that is 100% guaranteed.

@@brys4621 Not saying grievous cant be good, he can be but not becuase of anything unique to him, maybe claw rush becuase you can try hit somone from behind but that can be parried as well You can just parry ppl and try to dash behind them to hit them but that's really it He can be good if you play generically tryhard like you can with every other character, this game is not that complex for pvp and alot of the saber characters can be played the same anyway

@@boof994 no offense bro but L take again grievous is totally different from any other saber character he has a dif jump attack meaning he can hook swing way faster and do like 2 maybe 3 at a time if u fast enough not to mention if u play dirty he has the thrust surge glitch where he can immediately get thru block combo that with spider crawl and 2 quick jump attacks that’s at least half of a hero hp he’s easily top 4 in the game

@@Bigweenie1913 I know about the thrust surge tech, it's not easy at all as well as it can just be parried anyway as most good players will do normally as opposed to blocking, the timing is exactly the same. Grievous doesnt get good momentum on his jumps anyway and if you do your gonna fly past ppl and maybe get one jump attack, that and hook swings are not a complex thing to dodge anyway, its literally what everyone trys to do with saber heros, and noone is going to stand still for those quick jumps he can do, and if grievous does do it, he wastes half his stamina doing so, claw rush is all he has and it doesnt even multihit anymore, and has recovery limited what can be done pressure wise unless you hit and cancel immediately which would have to be a prediction. Which is unlikely to happen against ppl who know what they are doing In matches against high levels, grievous is not the best, again still doable if you say generically tryhard and just claw rush, Larry and try to dash through ppl and hit them in the back. He isnt special or op but he is my favorite and I know all this first hand

Yeah but a try hard Anakin will give grievous a tough time in supremecy because of His poor Blaster blocking stamina and that He can be pulled Out of His claw Rush With the right Timing. Also His claw Rush Sometimes deactivates when He crawls into an small obstacle on the Map but in General With the right cards the is the best Clone wars era villain for Trooper modes With bossk. Mauls but With His Spin sadly Puts him down a Bit and dooku is great against Heroes but Lacks range and gets Destroyed by aerials.

I run that card because of your how to play grevious video from ages ago.

Dice had to make some different heroes with weakness and powers so it's getting the characters unique. Flesh is weak compense the lack of stamina that Grievous has against blasters I would say. So this card make him too strong in HvV may be but he needs it for the large scale mode, or he wouldn't t be able to run those game modes. Same with Dooku : insanely strong in HvV, pretty weak in large scale mode even though he has 3 dodges. So it s all about balancing and getting different gameplay. Also they had to balanced all the characters for HvV if we want to to talk more about balancing overhaul the game modes.

I love this game but I was sick of going to showdown and having a boba and palp or something dumb like that it just makes the game frustrating especially wanting to have 1v1s

It's nothing official, members of the community will have them sometimes, usually by invite

The worst thing about Grievous is his Claw Rush hitbox. You can jump, be at the peak of your jump, then get hit if he's below you.

tbh, I think Flesh is fair considering 2 of Grievous's 3 abilities are practically useless, one of which gives his opponent one or two free hits and Luke Skywalker is probably the second most broken character in the game next to Vader when you factor his insane swing speed, Health recovery and Intensify. Also the free damage he gets from Epicenter.

@@smaugsportfolio8199 Dooku is pretty easy to read though. A good Rey is a pain in the ass. I'll giver her that. Luke is just hard to deal with when he gets in your face because of his swing speed, it totally fucks with my latency and staggers my hero from being able to counter sometimes. Luke is the only hero that does this.

One question, so when Grievous it's at 50% he gets 25% damage reduction but if he gets his full hp again, his damage reduction returns to 0%?

If flesh is weak is banned, than ban parrying, cheap glitches, and hook swings. Otherwise Flesh is Weak should be allowed and while we're at it, that Luke keeps getting his health rejuvenated after every hit from Grievous so ban Luke from tournaments.

If you're referring to the absolutely broken combo of sith trained beating heart and flesh is weak for Grievous who wouldn't want to run around with 1160 health 160 damage a swing 190 to the back and 350 health regeneration sure it's absolutely busted and a confident Grievous such as myself is pretty much unkillable unless I'm being 3V1 or 4V1 but even then if the team isn't that good you can easily squad wipe

@@LeeEverett1 1 beating heart doesn't give health it gives up to 100 more health regeneration 2 Vaders health is on a timer sure he does Game damage reduction but that still doesn't matter just get good at the game sure it's annoying to go up against a flesh is weak Grievous but it's not cheap as far as I said you just have to get good at the game I can easily take down a Grievous with flesh is weak with Luke or my main Anakin like I said you just have to be good at the game

@@LeeEverett1 it's all about blocking timing an awareness sure you get the occasional Oddball such as myself who's amazing with Grievous and there's not much you can do but nine times out of ten people don't know how to use Grievous properly so it's very easy to utilise that to your advantage

If people think flesh is weak is op then they r forgetting about other op star cards. Han solo third roll. He becomes almost impossible to hit. Chewbacca dmg reduction card. Like imagine a full health chewie with 34% dmg reduction. Cpt phasma 50% dmg reduction card. Im gonna skip Vader. He is already op by himself. Obi wans health regen card which allowes him to regen 400 health like wtf. Anakins steamroll card and his pull card that gives pull dominance insanse range and retribution also shouldnt be allowed to use. Its almostba win button.

It's a must-have card in supremacy, I don't care if it's unfair

I think it was mainly made for the trooper modes. He can't block a blaster for like a second and he is the biggest character in the game, so I think it's kinda balances him. His abilities also dont work halve of the time. I have a mixed feeling about it when it comes to dueling. It's quite useful, bcs his abilities are bad in a duel. Claw rush and thrust surge can be easily parried and unrelenting advance is worthless.

Never use flesh is weak. It’s powerful, no doubt, but I dislike how it rewards sloppy strategies with grievous. I prefer methodical/conservative saber play (which is usually effective with any saber hero).

Consider the fact this is the only way players can have 1vs1 PVP Star Wars experiences with modern games. There is literally nothing else, and this game is from 5 years ago, so I think it's great that players have a way to duke it out and see who is better

All his star cards are usually banned, Vader himself is allowed though

Has no reason to be banned when 2 of his 3 abilities are bad and bugged. His 2 has a small hitbox and doesnt deal much damage not to mention his slow ass swings. Grevious getting a card banned is just people bitching about nothing

Additionally vader can have his middle ability grant 32% damage reduction, add a 6s duration to it, get 250 temp hp which all gives him more value than the two grievous cards do... Luke can be fierce, but I certainly would not call him unfair in any capacity. While his health regen speed is great, his regen max is poor. I see a lot of talk about star cards and abilities being key in discussions of dueling; but in my eyes, health and stamina management are more integral (albeit they can be modified with cards).
