Condensed milk can indeed be sweetened OR unsweetened, but the issue with the cocoa candies that didn't turn out well was that Denny used evaporated milk instead of condensed milk. There's a difference!

I like my ramen noodles on toast. I started eating it that way about 1995…it was just something I tried one day to make the meal more filling. I’m not surprised others eat it that way. It’s a cheap, quick and satisfying meal.

Sweetened condensed milk is often called just condensed milk. The kind that isn't sweet is called evaporated milk. :)

You need to have your own TV show

For the last recipe mix eggs with the milk, a little bit of salt and sugar and then dip bread into this mixture. Then fry it. After it is done sprinkle some sugar on top or you can use nutella. It is delicious. My mother was making it when I was little.

​@@nageshkamath1295 after Lithuania gain independence, my family wasn't rich enough to have internet, in the result, we couldn't search for new recipes online but we had recipes book. I'm sure that this sandwich recipes is not from there. Usually my mom just made food for us that she had learned from her mother. I never knew how this sandwich was called. Technically, I could call it a French toast but we fry it on the pan so it is quite soggy. Also, we never use cinnamon on top.😃

the last recipe is a childhood dish for me :D but it done quite wrong. Soak bread into egg and milk mixture, then fry it on pan while adding a little sugar and cinnamon and fry it until its lightly caramelized.

We used to have "egg in the hole" which was savory, with the milk and egg mixture, then there was "French toast", sweet dip with no hole. BOTH were 🥳 in your mouth!!!

I was like screaming, “NOOOOO!” when you measured the Mayo. lol your tablespoon was so heaping that it was probably 2-3 Tbls in one! Haha

The moist soft toast is exactly like sweet French Toast (well that was what mum called it), it is cooked exactly how you did the dipping one. You mix everything except the butter in a bowl, lightly dip the bread but make sure it goes through by dipping each side. Then put butter in the pan (not too hot or the butter will burn) and cook the bread until golden brown both sides (it should be crunchy on the outside and softer in the middle but the egg mix should be cooked all the way through (not soggy). You can top it with crispy bacon and maple syrup, banana and cinnamon sugar, or plain cinnamon sugar, my dad liked to squeeze a little lemon juice on it then sprinkle sugar on top. The bacon and maple syrup sounds weird but it works because the saltiness of the bacon is balanced by the sweetness of the maple syrup.

My grandson always made the toast with the egg in the hole. Mom never had the time to fuss. It made it special. I fed it to my children when they were young. 😃
