Blatant political persecution.

Bud he did lie on business records, so he did commit the crime
What politician is a perfect human being? Genuine question

Or non-politicians for that matter
As a Aussie i take offence😁
3:51 - any time fraud is used to cover up another crime it automatically becomes a felony. It is not “legal acrobatics” he also did not pay tax on the hush money. Covering up tax evasion with fraud would have been enough to make the acts of fraud felonies. Lazy biased journalism.
I'm one of those I'll have neither please Americans.... they might not be the candidates we need but they're probably the candidates we deserve.

Speak for yourself. Trump actually cares for America and fights for America. He's hated by the powers that be.
Guilty verdict was released before the end of the case! Unsound result!

Trump may be guilty, but his treatment is unfair; which makes his verdict unjust.

How was his treatment unfair?

@@prsancho I suppose so, but then he is kind of unique in terms of the circumstances surrounding him, like for most people the falsification of documents would not be such a big crime, but then most people are not involved in a presidential election campaign. I can see how it could also look like a witch-hunt, but I genuinely think it's just his chickens coming home to roost. You've only got to listen to the many accounts of him screwing over contractors, architects, builders etc over many years to get the picture of someone who is not honest. I do think that it's all ramped up a bit by the fact that the prosecutors want to go to trial before the election- probably with the motivation of damaging his election chances.

@@calmac9720 , precisely. He’s not being persecuted because of what he did, but because of who he is.

Well you guys just lost credibility. “Witch hunt.” Give me a break. Dude has broken so many damn laws.
i think it is working- 1st term was fine, but they are making him bitter for the 2nd term which will make him more brittle
They're slow grinding him and his support down, and ultimately it is working.

Trumps polling has improved and his political donations have hit over $300m since the court case decision. The highest of any political candidate in history.

Are you daft? This is not the best they have. This is just the first of many. I guess you conveniently forgot when he tried to overturn the election with fake electors or “I just need you to find me x amount of votes.”

Well, there's this, the rape, the defamation, the business fraud, the theft and retention of classified documents, the illegal receipt of at least $7 million dollars from foreign governments whilst in power, the extra-marital affair, tax evasion, document fraud, inciting violence towards the US department of justice, inciting an insurrection, attempts to stop the peaceful transfer of power after losing the 2020 election. So I wouldn't say he was necessarily the cleanest politician ever, it's possible though, politicians are notoriously corrupt.
The charges against Trump are like prosecuting someone for jaywalking, but charging them with 34 counts of jaywalking because it took them 34 steps to cross the road.
All this terrifies me - glad you think it's funny. Perhaps I worry too much. I just think that Biden is evil.
@calmac9720

I don't think that you should be terrified- I have found things much easier simply looking at the evidence that we have. Just ask yourself what is the evidence to suggest that Biden is in the wrong, and what is the evidence to suggest that Trump is in the wrong. My personal experience is that there is more evidence against Trump. There is very little, objectively, to suggest that Biden is evil.
D Trump is the closest to being the best POTUS in that country's history .Pretty close to being the perfect human being by most standards I would suggest. No one though is looking for the 'perfect man.'

Associating with, and being advised by an accused child rapist, supporting a Senator accused of sexual misconduct with a minor, being close friends with a sexual abuser and trafficker. So I wouldn't necessarily say that he was nearly perfect, but perhaps by most standards he is. I'd like to think that we could do better though.
We should thank the Democrats for boosting Trump's popularity.
I wonder, did the Democrats think that persecuting the people's candidate with the full force of the American establishment would make him *less* of an underdog? 😆
