I don't understand why this has such few views?! I love western shirts. They're effortless to dress up. There are so many choices to make when picking out one of these. Gap/Wrangler/Levi are all good entry level brands, but one cannot help but fall in love and graduate to pricier options like the ones you mentioned! These are hands down my favorite shirts for those reasons.

Someone besides wrangler makes western shirts? Western shirts and clothes are like tactical clothes but undercover. Think about how well made western clothes are made.

My favorite western shirts are Ely Cattleman, Ruddock shirts, and Wrangler. I don't like the really fancy western shirts.I like simple plaids, solid color's, and pearl snaps. I wear them almost daily with my boots, rodeo buckle, and cowboy hat and even wore them when I was off duty when I served in the army. The best shirts to wear for any occasion. love wearing them. With all the piping and adornments they are great at making you look like the new snack piece at a boys bar.

Wrangler, Levies, Lee, and Ralph Lauren all make great western shirts. Those Hawaiian shirts are really nice! That last one I didn’t like to much. Horizontal stripes with those buttons, just ain’t doing it for me. Gotta have those snaps!

Great selection of western shirts! I will have to take a look at some of those, esp the Howler Brothers which I’ve had my eye on for a while. I do have the Wrangler shirt and it’s definitely a good deal at $25. I recently picked up a western shirt from Teddy Stratford, which has quickly become my favorite. I have purchased a number of their dress shirts, and the western shirt is similarly sized - very tailored fit. I initially thought that their zipper closure (hidden, you only see buttons or snaps) was gimmicky, but it really makes the fit feel almost custom, with no bunching.

I have two Wrangler denim shirts blue and black. I love snap buttons. They are good quality, they will last long. Hope.

Good Lord. $160.00 for a shirt??!!! I guess we can tell the real Cowboys by how inexpensive their shirts are. I wouldn't even spend that much on a shirt to show in the world finals. Sure you did put Wrangler in but as the if you can't afford these others that you talked about. I have known a lot of cowboys over the years and been to many shows and rodeos and I know of no one who would pay that much. Nice shirts but not worth it. Good info though.

@@BeastMadeReviewswrangler is much better and has protected me against over 6,000 degrees Fahrenheit while using torches in a fab shop. Most other clothing would catch fire or fuse to my skin if used in such abusive environments.

Your black taylor stitch shirt looks stellar. Thats a nice cut, style, and good details like the white lines (blow awwwaaaay)

Just ordered the TS in pale blue on a great sale from Huckberry. I think that I may have likes the F&T design a bit better but for a $90 higher price tag it certainly didn’t seem worth it to me. High hopes for my first western from TS though!! Thanks for the review.

@@BeastMadeReviews i got a new one, well it's used but it's really nice! it's wrangler, vintage multicolor striped look, with 3 buttons on the cuff, so it's a fun shirt to wear and also very comfortable, i have to agree they're the best casual shirt option..

It was a size Small on me--I usually wear a size medium t-shirt or small/medium button-up shirt. The Rivay fit like I expected, but it runs a little longer in the sleeves and torso. That works out for me, but it's something to consider.

Great review! The Taylor stitch shirts look pretty sweet. Know any brands that are similar but a little more affordable?

Rafter C is a good brand. Cheaper and fit amazing and good quality I’m not sure if they sell independently from Cavenders though

For well over 40 years I've worn a couple of different shirts. A couple: Two. Plain white shirts with a suit (.001%). Western indigo denim shirts (99.999%) I throw them out when the fabric completely gives out.

no I haven't. I personally wouldn't buy much of anything from Wish or Temu, but I'm sure there are some good shirts on Amazon.

It is hard to beat Wrangler’s Western Shirts Cowboy Cut…Older it gets, better it feels and looks!

the snaps are not 1800s and hard to repair if they get damaged unlike buttons

I really like the look of the TS shirt… but all out of stock in my size.

Would love to love taylor stitch but feel and sizing is not for those who spend time on the gym with muscle mass

the selvedge aspect means they used old style shuttle looms to weave the fabric. if it's non selvedge it can still be great but more often not.

I think this is one aspect of "selvedge". But the main point that companies always attribute "selvedge" to is the edge of the denim.

As a Very Rural Man that has parties where the new guy holds the Nut Bucket. We Grow Amonds, Walnuts, and Ducks for Meat. Northern Californian Pride. Im a Black Hillbilly and Proud AF of it. I have my nice Ariat , Wrangler, and Carhart Button ups that go nice to dinner with a "Sports Coat" But my best Shirts were my 10-15 dollar Wrangler Button Ups that I got from Kmart and WalMart. But Y2Country got you guys buying all this dumb expensive stuff. Us Real Farmers aint got no Money.We go to WalMart, or Tractor Supply and dont buy nice stuff, until we go into town for supplies
