Based in my experience with interacting with Board directors of a large corporation, it's already been determined how the Ador and Ms. MHJ situation is to be handled. The May 31st date is just a formal step in the process to closedown the mess that has occurred inside HYBE. I suspect that top investors of the corporation have already weighed in on what must be the outcome of the May 31st meeting for their investment to stay in place. Music industry leaders... both domestic in Korea and internationally...that are collaborating with HYBE have already called Bang PD and told him what they want to be done about MHJ. That's why no one of authority in the industry is commenting on what's happening. Everyone already knows the May 31st outcome. You are correct that MHJ is behaving as a lower level employee rather than a top senior executive. MHJ is flooding the public with stories that are numerous and easily.debunked. MHJ already knows she's lost this battle, but you're correct... she's using the scorched earth approach to her departure from the industry. This is truly an extremely dangerous situation for everyone in Korea if MHJ keeps having the platform to manipulate millions of innocent Kpop fans. The next person who tries this same trickery will be even worse than MHJ. Kpop doesn't deserve this type of nuclear destruction. PS. Sean, you're doing a fantastic job of providing these objective updates even though you're being attacked by Koreans who want so very much to support MHJ as she drags them along. A deliberate campaign to defame and dilute the value of Hybe, other Hybe groups along with Chairman Bang. This while promoting NJ, herself and Ador. Min used Hybe's resources while clandestinely eliminating them as she perceived them as lesser opponents to be eliminated and discarded at will. Her final goal then and now is a hostile buyout and total control of NJ and Ador with little or no financial risk.

OK, so I was a predebut fan of both groups, le sserafim and new jeans! Never did I confuse between the two, nobody thought MHJ had anything to do with Sakura and Chaewon. It was pretty clear that there were going to be two groups. Anyway, everything seemed fine after both groups' debut, but I was very wary of how ADOR has isolated NJs from the rest of HYBE and kind of built that exclusive image, but now I can see it was more than that. She thinks everybody in that building is beneath her, and she fed that mentality to her staff as well. That is just a recipe for disaster. Even when she went on You Quiz and in her previous interviews, you can tell she is a very narcissistic person. She will shade you while praising herself in all her answers. It's just unbearable at a certain point. I don't blame HYBE for avoiding her. The parents of New Jeans are also major red flags. Lurking on social media like a K-pop stan is very messy, and no offence, all their complaints and demands scream first-world problems, entitlement, and having a superiority complex. It just makes working with you very very difficult. That is why all of MHJs claims I have to suspect are only half-truths. All in all, this whole situation has ruined two completely innocent girl groups (illit and le seraphim) that had absolutely nothing to do with this.

Honestly, as an older western female (and BTS fan), my first reaction to the MHJ Press Conference was that as a CEO, her behavior was very unprofessional. Then, my compassion kicked in and I thought perhaps she was either mentally ill or had a nervous breakdown. Women in the workplace should never pull “the woman card” in my opinion. 💜

It sounds like auditors need to be recording all conversations as they do their investigation. She and the stylist may have been splitting money or taking kick backs as a way of hiding money. In other words, the money may have gone back to adore as a back door through the stylist.

I used to produce shoots for GQ magazine in the UK. Employees get paid by the employer, freelancers are paid a day rate charged to the advertiser. It’s not just about the profit it’s about transparency, integrity and professional standards. Do people bend the rules? Probably but not publicly traded companies.

Could it be that the more accurate term is 'con artist '?! Consider how she used HYBE as 'the big bad boss' to sway others, bend the rules for personal greed, and manipulate public opinion. The allegation that Bang PD 'neglected' NJ by not acknowledging a greeting seems far-fetched. Instead, if true, this could have been a valuable moment for the NJ members to reflect on their self-worth and behaviour, understanding that a person's response doesn't define them, especially in the case of a public figure, rather than turning it into an attack. MHJ is an abysmal representation of women in the corporate world. She's beginning to understand the harsh truth that 'There is no honour among thieves.'

I think alot of the people might have a built up an inaccurate image of the company auditors based on the way MHJ has been painting the audits that took place LOL I’ve gone through plenty of company audits and these people are basically just ‘accountants’ who are going to look into detail about every step of your work process and that includes asking alot of questions and looking into your computers. He did complain. But only after a year and in a funny not disrespectful way when they were allowed to air their personal grievances. NJ and parents should watch that video and the many more showing how new groups are normally treated and how much money and stuff they get. Then looked at what they have and bow down deeply in shame and gratitude to Hybe and Bang PD!

I saw a report that she had scheduled a board meeting for ADOR on the morning that RM's pre-lease track dropped, and the reporter thought the upcoming coverage was going to diminish the coverage of RM"s music. Ever since BTS announced that they were going on hiatus haters were gleefully expecting them to either disband or become irrelevant after they complete their military service. Didn't MHJ say in effect that it would be better (for NJ?) when BTS is on hiatus and even see her shaman about it? Well, it looks like she didn't bank on BTS working their butts off prior to enlisting to launch their solo projects and break records as soloists too. Jungkook, V and Jimin have one album out each. RM's about to drop his second album a week before the upcoming board meeting and there's talk about Jimin having a second album in the vault. June 12 is Jindependence Day. It would be epic if he had a least a single ready for Festa 2024. We'll see soon enough.

Speculation: MHJ would like BTS away and unable to comment because its hard for rookies to claim "mistreatment" from Bang PD when all 7 BTS members started with nothing and shared one room for years and have stories of Bang PD not knowing who some were as rookies. Also, wouldn't the native Koreans NJ members understand the S. Korean hierarchy of at CEO not engaging the rookies they don't work directly with vs maybe the Australian members who didn't grow up in S. Korea? Something about the "Bang PD was rude" just seems strange. It also seems MHJ isolated NJ away from anything outside ADOR except for a few challenges with a couple of HYBE artist

She is so hypocritically clueless by saying N.J. was copied while putting out that video and song. I guess it was brought out that the letter from the parent was actually written by her from a conversation she had with the parent. She just keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper until she eventually will fall in.

When she showed up dressed like a 14yr old with the baseball cap and messy hair and clothes I think she lost all credibility. This brings to mind the tragic drama created about G-Dragon and that poor guy from Parasite, Lee Sun Kyun. Lies hurt. Lies can ruin. Lies can kill. It's making me sick that BTS, P D Bang, and Hybe/Bighit can be this vulnerable. This crazy woman needs to go!!!! Now!!!

Clearly she is a criminal no matter how you look at her. All this manipulation is for something,right? This is why i felt she was a narcissist because her behaviour was the same as narcissists I have dealt with in my life. They literally believe that they are faultless. They are the hero and victim in every story they spin. If anyone has a talent for manipulating people and spinning a story in their favour it is them because they believe every word they are saying and seem to not even acknowledge their lies. They don't think twice about using others for their own gain. They do say narcissists make really good CEOs of companies because of how ruthless they are. I hope HYBE gets the chance to make the right decision and not have it taken away by the courts.

The first thing wenwere told in b-school is that once you are in the management, "i didnt know or my employee did it without my knowledge" is not a valid excuse legally. In any country. Its why internal audit etc are a thing and why someone in management has to be so careful about following company policy and procedures.

I think Min is gonna get fired and get in trouble for the tax stuff. She got too greedy.

Every miniscule excuse she will use because she is running out of stories. By the way I think if you didn't get the attention of the CHAIRMAN of the company then suck it up. They think they are the most important group in the world.. wake up... Chairman Bang PD has more important things to think about. Make yourself as Huge aS BTS then you have the right to complain.

Im not surprise NJ 's CEO is self absorbed . She wants all the attention. They got the guidance from her. I think the parents should step up and open their eyes on who they should side with.she is not a good v influence to 5he group. Hiding behind teenage girls to advance her plan of a takeover.

So here is what is really pissing me off with this woman at this point: while she's using these girls as chess pieces - that being both NJ and Illit - she could affectively be ending both of these groups. NJ in the legal realm and Illit in the court of the infamous Netizens. She has NO consideration of how mentally stressing it must be for the girls themselves, especially NJ, to be living everyday under the fear that their group could be lost. After all of their hoping, training and actual success, can you imagine the despair they must be experiencing? They could very well be left tainted and labeled 'problematic' even though THEY are not the problem. They all saw exactly what happened to Fifty Fifty and this is looking alot like that situation. They debuted, had a huge success and then got lost in between two corporations fighting over them, convincing them to take sides and pick allegiances that cost them all their group and possibly future opportunities. These girls are probably terrified. They know a little of how finicky and fickle the politics of the business can be and how, MOST OF THE TIME, the artists take the loss. Those girls could be in a mental and emotional danger that none of the 'adults' in the room seem to be taking into consideration. I'm am becoming a little scared in all this, and a whole lot more pissed!

Pay the money back to Hybe and rightfully so since Hybe invested money, resources, time, and promoted them as BTS little sister group. The parents have been manipulated by Min to view Hybe and it's other groups as competitors to be eliminated. They are lured by the millions that NJ has quickly received, not realizing nor appreciating that Hybe and Chairman Bang were equally if not more responsible for their quick generous payday, than MHJ. Their contracts are with Hybe, so Hybe had to agree to their compensation. You are right, MHJ has deflected any unmet wishes or perceived slights onto Chairman Bang. He's being unfairly used as a scapegoat to be defamed. The odd thing is, Min is the one "identifying" and labeling these "slights".She was given compensation and a budget to accomplish a successful debut. Goal accomplished, do what is really her issue or goal? To defame & level the influence and control of Chairman Bang and raise her own?

I was quite shocked to find out that so many Korean people have been holding a grudge against Bang PD all along for no good reason and express so much anger toward Bang PD even though so much was explained about the nature of the conflict between Bang vs Min. Mostly commented that he is greedy and trying to fire MIn to save money. Even though Bang PD and HYBE treated Korea and the Korean public with utmost respect by throwing a free BTS concert spending millions of dollars and all those UNICEF speeches and performances free of charge. Unbelievably idiotic and ungrateful public. Western entertainers will do nothing for free unless it's for donation to the poor.

@@ahantu One would also ask was his head in some paperwork eg not paying attention to those around him. Not see or hear their greeting. Or did he think they are young is it appropriate to speak to young girls when there's no 'other older Female' present. So many different reason he shouldn't speak. He's the Chairman of the a an extremely large company, so won't know everyone, will have many things on his mind, so often be very pre occupied that might not even notice there are other's around him as he's rushing back and forth also SK does have a bit of hierachcy in business companies.

I completely agree. This woman is truly a genius at branding and her greatest project is she herself. She’s playing the Korean public and media more impressively than Yo Yo Ma masters his cello. Pulling strings with respect to bias, prejudice, etc, striking the right chords to sway the public. When people are emotional they’re the worst to deal with, ignoring facts and logic, it’s impossible to reason with them. If the judge caves into public sympathy and media play, it will be a horrendous reflection of lawlessness in Korea. This woman is extremely clever and toxic.

She belongs to the old kpop world where it is all thuggeries and gangster style negotiations. It will be interesting to see if the old dysfunctional world of kpop is truly behind us, or are the old elements such as Min Hee Jin is clinging on to whatever power they have left. As a new person in kpop I am not too invested in how kpop used to be. There is a reason why I wasn’t a fan. But that global door is opened now and there are more eyes on the Korean kpop industry than ever before. Now, fandoms are more diverse. We are older. More educated (yes, I said it). We are professionals. CFO, auditors, accountants, lawyers, doctors, NASA staff members launching satellites. I hope the old world of Kpop is truly over so the new can begin. Because I for one am sick of all the drama. Something Kpop used to be more about than actual music and showmanship.

As a fan of one of those girl groups she dragged in and destroyed, I feel enraged by how the public (especially in Korea) is siding with her. The hate has reached dangerous levels and it’s all because of her morally distorted and dangerous ways of mobilizing public opinion, at the expense of the girls of the groups she named. I feel sick at the thought of the public giving her exactly what she wants and demonizing innocent girls.

MHJ alleging plagiarism is like the pot calling the kettle black, because she is basically copying and reusing things that she saw during her childhood/teenage years... when she does it, it is "sampling" or "inspired by" or "tribute to". But when someone else does it, it is "no no no no noooo" 😂😂😂

Man... it feels like I'm going to be an EXPERT in corporate law after all this is over. Here's a question I have about this whole mess: WHY is NJ not on hiatus right now? WHY are they having a comeback in the middle of this? In the midst of a major financial dispute, shouldn't regular business and income go on hold? And on top of that, the comeback causes a huge plagiarism scandal, which only makes everyone involved look even worse to the public, if not the law. Seems to me like allowing comeback promotions during this dumpster fire only A) increased the financial values up for debate and B) gave shady persons an additional opportunity to pull further sabotage, manipulation, etc. Is ANYONE steering the ship at this point???

Hmm if they would stop comback they would look bad, they as Hybe, it is simple as that, you also have to remember combacks materials are made long before so money already gone into it, there isn't really getting back money that go into comeback, the preorders for albums were out before this all blow up, people buy it, etc, it would look really bad. Bc her stance from begining is that NJ was treated badly, and anothers GG have privliges (where?! Ehh) and then this copy things come out,so stoping thebconeback would be even worse then this. And literally how could Hybe knew there will be problem with song? Mhj all things in regart to NJ did behind closed doors, etc. She had trust, (too much of it). So in short comeback was planed and money was go by going along with comeback Hybe 1. Show that he didn't abondent NJ, that they care and do all so they can funcion. 2. They got some money back bc preorders, etc, album production will get back some money, streaming will also get some, etc, so this way in theory some money is coming back to company. 3. Hiatus would look like they punish NJ members, it would look bad bc mhj would use it. Simply think about situation when this blow up and they make group take a break bc of this, it is literally like giving mhj amunition, she would talk only about mistreatend and how they are blocked, that company dosen't care, that they it bc they are petty, etc, I see it all in my head. But I agree after comeback activites, that were planed and paid before the girls should be on break as long as Ador situation is looked at. Not to say money should be frozen from then, like of course employees should get paid their salary but there should be any investments and buissnes decisions.

Do they (and the parents) think everything is super good when you decide to jump into kpop and become an idol?! They are obviously not ready for the massive wave of glam and challenges because NJ is still too young and not as strong as they should be. Miss Min shouldn't drag the parents in to save her a$$. I think NJ parents have seen their daughters not being in debt, but being paid a lot of money upfront, they are blinded. This is rare and is thanks to Hybe, not MHJ.

@@hihihicups Let me enlighten you. In 2023 Net profit of BigHit was 183.5 billion won, Pledis: 60.3 billion won, and Adore: 26.5 billion won (minus 3 billion in 2022). So in 2022-2023 they earned only 23.5 billion and only because they were associated with BTS and backed up by Hybe. Have a nice day!

This whole thing made me realize that a lot ppl specifically the demographic NJ is targeting has never worked in corporate but no one is obligated to say high to you or even remember that you are an employee.

So, as a woman who has worked at different corporate levels, I'm of the belief If you have to cry go outside. I've seen many times women using their gender to gaslight their colleagues and higher ups. While people are spending time comforting and/or backing off, the person has caused enough damage to the company that the co. has to switch to repair mode once they figure things out. As the person who actively warns while watching these types of spectacles I just have to smh.

One thing i realized when you become successful in Korea yes all over the world but korea ,others dont like it and want to bring it down, in this case she did not work blood ,sweat and tears to build this company but now think she have the right to claim everything, check also SM entertainment and others because this woman is to stupid arrogant to think this up alone even her lawyers bend their heads inshame
