BTW.. 6 evasion + core bonus = 20 evasion. Then someone rolls 20 and does 3 structure with a single hit ;)

Just watch out for Smart and Reliable weapons, because they’ll just body you.

Pairing this mech with hunter and the knives from the license could give you insane movement

Some SSC exec saw the "Teleports behind you" meme and was like "GET R&D ON THAT" Fun details: The core system isn't technically a teleport, it actually just moves you at near-lightspeed. The Singularity Motivator isn't a teleport either, it just literally stops time for you for about 10 seconds, which is probably even more fucked up than a regular teleport would be

I’m always at a loss whether to bring one of these or an Atlas when fighting organic targets, usually kaiju fights have no good way to hit high evasion, low edef mechs.

The launchers are gold on the Viceroy. Potentially 4 of them, Vanguard and Gunslinger to buff them etc.

Note on probability Every time you fire up the drive, you have a 6/216 (there are 6 different ways the die can be all one number on three dice and 6x6x6 possibilities) or 1/36. That's roughly a 2.8% chance of vanishing for the entire fight EVERY TIME YOU USE THIS THING (If my math is bad, let me know). Honestly, having your frame go poof away from the fight isn't much better than being blown up, particularly if it's the last fight of the mission. Having one of your PC's literally vanish on the first turn can instantly throw a fight the wrong way. For this reason, I'd really, really really try hard not to use the passive unless it's a life or death situation. It's good that the hunter trait is pretty strong or this frame would be basically unusable IMO. As it is I'd still rather use almost any frame. In a game with three or less players I'd consider it a sin to take this frame: vanishing would be cutting your team's power by 33%.

Less than 3% isn't even within "acceptable margin of error". It's statistically insignificant. Hell just shooting a gun is less reliable (mechanically speaking). And what are you losing? A single, flimsy, single target Striker. Now having said asset is amazing. But firepower wise? Realistically two baseline Everests can burn through a run of the mill encounter without taking structure or popping core. It's at worst an inconvenience. Unless the encounter your in is balanced in a way that requires single target damage. Which if it is? Plenty of other options exist, and (I always say it) Read the briefing, build accordingly. Unuseable? Not hardly. That said prefer Tokugawa because of just how much burn you can stack, and how few things have good ways to resist burn.
