Nice video. I enjoy your channel. One thing we have to consider is manufacturers have to sell this vehicle all over the world so it’s set up for typical use- trail use. It’s probably more than adequate for that purpose. For us in southern Utah- even what we consider normal or easy riding can be pretty extreme in comparison. We also have so much diversity that it’s hard to set up a vehicle perfectly for all conditions we encounter on a single ride. Especially since it’s subjective to each driver. Good thing we can change the things we need to make the ride our own. Can am makes great machines.

I’m with ya. Been a great buggy. I love mine. I know it isn’t gonna rip up the dunes but it is highly capable on the rocks and trails and so easy to make it unique and stand apart from all those X3 and Rzrs.

I agree with everything you have said. You can only come up with these opinions by getting out and riding both your own machine and others as well. The sway bar tuning on the XRC and XMR machines are totally off. Same bars as the skinny Trail model and they don't translate well to these wider units. Should have come from the factory with LED headlights, bead lock wheels, and a heavier duty battery (as well as better springs). Don't let my complaints steer you wrong though. I love this SXS, it does everything well and has been trouble free for me so far.

Thanks for the honest review of the MAVERICK SPORT XRC. I have the 2019 version, which is a different color, and I love mine. I have recently installed the "Shock Therapy" Duel rate sprongs, but haven;t had the opportunity to take it out yet with the new springs. Thanks again for the review!

@@corylee2261 Yes. I did the dual rate springs first and that was a night and day improvement in the ride. I was on the fence about having the internal work done but we're glad we did that also. It took the ride to a new level. More controlled and plush in the wash chop and short dips in the trials.

Good points .. I have nearly 1k miles on my xrc and my biggest complaint is the engine noise, it is loud .. I think the size of the machine is very deceptive, it is actually bigger dimensionally than a rzr 1k and the same wheelbase as a rzr turbo s, the cab layout is just marginally smaller it seems like .. the suspension tuning is fine for the general trail rider but for those doing more extreme riding it needs a some springs and valving .. overall I think it’s a good machine which is very versatile, definitely a jack of all trades master of none

They ride like a buckboard wagon stock. Having the machine ride to it's potential for any ridding style is why one needs to improve the supension.

Definitely not agreeing on the excessive noise level inside the cab on our '22 anyway. My wife and I actually bought the Maverick 1000 because it was much quieter and comfortable compared to others. The only buggy where we can have a normal conversation with regular voice level. We're piling hundreds of kms on weekends and the seating position / comfort level is second to none in that department.

Nice review. Hard to find any argument with any of your pros and cons. Size and suspension were the two big selling points for me with the KRX. Hard to believe there is only a 9" difference in their wheelbase. You say there is no perfect machine, but Garrett might disagree.....LOL
