My first ever time playing lancer I made an iskander. Just sent my barborossa into the sky with pinpoint focus and he apocalypse railed all of the enemies that he couldn't see across the map.

I never really had an idea what to do with the Tesseract system until you mentioned cover. Also the picture of lifting your allied Death's Head 6 spaces high so it can take a coverless shot with a Deathly Focused Cyclone Pulse Rifle is honestly pretty hillarious

15 sensor range makes this thing a surprisingly good hacker. Combine it with some Goblin systems and walk your enemy right into your minefield! The Gravity Gun also pairs fairly well with the Heavy Gunner pilot trait. It may not deal damage, but what it can do is punish up to 2 enemies within range for attempting to move by firing at them, which drags them where *you* want them to go and immobilizes them. Often, into more mines!

All time best mech. Who doesn't like dropping mines and traps everywhere? Go on name someone, I'll wait...

I believe you *CAN* target empty spaces with your weapons, though I'm not 100% sure. Even still, you could plonk a Mine into a hex, and on your next turn, once it's been armed, fire the Gravity Gun over that hex to pull everybody within 3 spaces of that Mine into the mine's range. Potentially getting multiple enemies with your single mine. Talk about getting the most bang for your buck!

One thing I've doing while fucking around in COMP/CON is typing one Pathfinder class on the pilot's callsign, then try to make a coherent character based on that, with each mech being a subclass. The challenge is making all the mechs actually function in game, but still invoke the fantasy of the Pathfinder class. Lancer is a game just as fun to build characters for as Pathfinder tbh (you can steal this idea for vids if you want) Don't know what it is with HA mechs but I find them visually not very appealing. Off-putting style. Basically only like the Enkidu, which is the one that looks the least like an HA mech

so im not noticing anyone stating it, but it looks like with skeleton key you dont trigger anything, no mines no proximities, nothing. im guessing it was just a misread, cus yeah like you were saying how it felt like you should be immune to both, you totally are.

Haven't played one yet but I am seriously considering it in the future.

Fun fact the name Iskander is the Arabic translation of the name Alexander
