Couldn’t disagree more, as I watch this on a 12 Mini. It is almost the perfect phone. I can say with almost 100% certainly I do not want a big phone ever again. I watch the video to support your channel, not for the content as I am sick of people saying this iPhone failed. Every single person who has held my phone has said they want one and it makes there phone feel like a brick. The iPhone that was a bad deal was the 12, as for a little extra you could go 12 pro with the same size screen. Battery life could be better, well yeah, on ever iPhone ever, it goes without saying, but the fact that I can lose my phone in my own pocket tells me just how perfect this phone is.

I don’t disagree with you except for the one thing I said during the video.. it’s priced too high.. and judging by the sales people agreed. Tech savvy people like you can understand the phone for what it brings to the table. But people looking for a good deal can’t see it. I really appreciate you sticking around to support me and I love that you didn’t hesitate to share you’re opinion... Keep it up!! I love the convo! Let’s be honest the battery in any phone needs to be better.. the solution is not throwing a bigger mAh battery in the phones either. The technology needs to step it up.

Just buy a 2nd hand one thats what i did here its 900euros got a 3 week used one for 550€ brand new basically. The mini is the best phone hands down the reason i came back to ios is the mini

Reading u after purchasing a 12 mini today... I had a brick type huawei earlier,,purposely i bought the mini since i want to have the phone within my comfortable grip...Cheers..!!!

Just because it is small, doesn’t mean it is not good. It is purposely made small for small phone lovers.

Yeah… but considering they stopped production on it officially a couple weeks ago…. I don’t think enough people liked it

The 13 mini really puts the iPhone 12 mini to shame. It has a better camera, more storage, and better battery life. But I would still buy the 12 mini to save money.

Brought a used iphone 12 mini to save money i think price was a big reason why this did not sell so well who doesnt wana save money when the cost of living is going up every year

The iPhone 12 Mini is perfect... if it was sold as the iPhone SE 2021. It's just the right size for people with tiny hands (or the elderly) and the lack of a Home Button not eating up screen real estate means it's still bigger than the paltry 4.7" screen of the current SE and, well, that's about all it's got going for it. Slap on a $399 price tag and watch it fly off shelves (or whatever brick and mortars use these days).

Could you imagine if they did a hybrid version of the 12 mini for the SE… that would fly off the shelves..

Meh i had the SE 2 before switching to the mini and I think it was an incredible upgrade if not for the bigger screen then from for the better screen going from lcd to OLED is just beyond words

For tech savvy people like you these things don’t go unnoticed. You understand and pay close attention to these kind of changes.. I like what the 12 Mini offers in a smaller package than the 12 and 12 Pro Max.. but for the regular consumer they just don’t notice..

Watching on the 12 mini.. I think it’s a great size. The regular 12 is too big for me. Also, I had the SE 2020 and upgraded to the 12 mini.

Lots of my tech friends love it too.. they appreciate the tech packed into this phone... I kept it around along with my 12 pro Max and it’s not a bad phone.. I just don’t think people are willing to pay the price.

iphone 12 mini has a battery much more than expected…. Now it’s giving me more than 5h30min when playing games and heavy use. where screen off time is 4 mins… while it gives 7hrs and more sot in its moderate use…!! The problem was with all the youtube reviewers who bashed it’s battery before using it more than 15 days , as iphone learns with your uses…and it enhances itself with the uses pattern… I won’t say it’s a flop phone and apple will realise it as its purpose was to cater to the niche market of small phone users.. you will see apple’s iphone 13 mini will be a great hit and they will be forced to bring apple iphone 14mini

Unfortunately, beyond the battery I think the phone is too expensive..... Apple has already decided to kill the next gen after this year... I hope they don't kill it either but just make it cheaper... I still have mine and put the new iOS on it to test it out.. I'm glad you like yours....

How about the iPhone mini as the new SE and lower the price by 200 dollars?

I heard Apple is going to develop software to work Face ID via Apple Watch , if your watch is on your wrist your phone will unlock automatically with Face ID even with a mask on , no passcode required , this will be great for Apple Watch owners with previous phones , but I agree in the Future Apple will integrate some kind of Touch ID , so I guess we will have to take our gloves off too 😂

LOL.. I have my watch setup to unlock my iMac and when I have to input passwords my iMac will alert my watch to authorize instead of putting in the password. I just didn’t assume everyone had an Apple Watch

Not to small. They should just put a finger print reader in the ON button. I think that shouldn’t have released the iPhone SE 2020 if the really wanted to sell the 12 mini in the numbers they wanted as well as having the starting memory at 128 gb not 64 gb at 699.

The price of the SE 2020 was just too attractive to people who just wanted a phone to do basic things.. you’re right the 12 mini offering 128GB to start would certainly help. I still think they needed to take out those other things I said in the video to help maybe lower the price to 599 maybe?

@@techexamined I think that both the phone released to close together. The Price for the size is not seen to be as good as the larger phones. I don’t see why people love 6.5 and larger phones so much.

For me it’s the better battery life.. As far as anything else I didn’t see much of a difference between the 12 PRO and Max...

I get to the point some days the 12 Pro Max isn’t good enough.. I’m up at 5:30 and I can kill the phone by early afternoon.. bottom line is the battery tech needs to step up

It didn't fail at all! 5-10% of new sales (for Apple around 200 millions per year) it's still 10-20 milion iPhone minis per year. Some companies don' sell that much phones their entire life :-) It is a matter of perspective: there is a small market for Apple fans for these small devices. Hope they keep this form factor in 2021-2022 also.

Lol... Apple isn’t concerned about perspective.. they only care about the bottom line. For any smaller phone manufacturer is was be a huge success. However, if they showed and stopped production then they felt it was failing. According to the rumors we might not see the variant in 2022. But who knows.. if Apple does release a next gen of the mini maybe the consumer will be able to see what it brings and decide to spend the money... then it might change Apple’s mind to keep going with it. I personally feel it would do well if Apple was able to offer it at a lower price. Thanks for the comment!! 👍

Fingerprint reader. THAT would create sales. Period. Face ID is a disaster in this bs plandemic.

LOL.. Yeah I never had an issue with the fingerprint reader on my phone....Even now when I have my phone flat on my desk I try to unlock it with my face and it takes more time than just using my finger
