Фильм және анимация

15 Years later, and the Incredibles still has the most dynamic and meaningful Superhero Action. Here I explain why.

What I love about this movie is the beginning with Mr. Incredible doing his superhero duties. Everything about it checks the boxes for stereotypical superhero genre actions: saving a cat from a tree, stopping a robbery, saving a man jumping from a building, stopping the train, having a fancy car, etc. Then the movie really begins and it turns the superhero genre upside down. This movie is the best

Yes, thank you. Also: Helen Parr desperately trying to tell her two babies that the situation they are about to be dropped into is *deadly serious* and they must *fight* in order to survive... that biz just rips me up, every time.

I don't expect me to top it either, but I am writing something else for non-Pixar Disney that will come close to being just as good: Evil Heroes! A girl who sounds like Kipo Oak gets to join a trio of superheroes she idolizes, but she does not know that they only pretend to be good and they are very corrupt. Her brother and their four friends have to become good superheroes to take down the evil superheroes. Much like Phineas and Ferb or Milo Murphy's Law, I have an undercover sub-movie starring Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. March 7, 2020, 12:24am

So, the super power of each member in the Incredibles family reflects their role within that family. No wonder their powers fit so well and don't look randomly picked at all. This movie works on so many levels.

All the heroes grow from the use of their powers Bob learns true strength is being able to ask for help. Helen learns to trust Bob. Violet becomes less shy and more outgoing. Syndrome contrast this by having no powers and consequently no character arc.(discounting his transition from Incrediboy) his main combat technique is to immediately halt a fight further showing his inability to change and grow. Ultimately the Omnidroid is shown to be able to grow and change allowing it to triumph over Syndrome whose zero point energy is never used to stop the learning of the Omnidroid.

Sure, the Incredibles are great and all, but y'all are sleeping on an entire treasure trove of Superhero media- that being Superhero anime. Shows like My Hero Academia and One Punch Man have basically revolutionizing the Superhero medium for the past decade, and most people in the west haven't even heard, or have, but just don't care about them. This is a mistake. I guarantee you that the stuff that's drawn on these shows have not been and probably can't be fully realized on the silver screens. I'm not hating, but the Incredibles aren't exactly groundbreakingly original either. I thought that was the whole point of the movie- they're just Pixar's way of making a Fantastic 4 movie without paying royalties to Marvel. If you're looking for new, fresh, original action scenes, then look no further then the animes I mentioned above. Where else can you see a superhero use his super-strength to flick pressurized air-bursts at his enemy by individually breaking his fingers? Or a guy leveling a city with a single touch? Basically: try new things. You'll be surprised at what you find.

The Incredibles 3 would make an amazing sequel if - after superheroes were legalized in The Incredibles 2, Dash and Violet become friends with other super kids, also one girl and one boy, who they do not know are from a family of super villains. I always wanted one of the villain kids to be voiced by Christy Carlson Romano. Maybe the boy should be Jake Gyllenhaal because his sister Maggie had an animated movie role before in Monster House, and he played brother and sister with Daveigh Chase, Lilo Pelekai's VA before in Donnie Darko, so I figured maybe he could also be brother and sister with Kim Possible's VA. I think it’s funny how in the beginning you referred to live action the action as the style most people accept and find the most fitting for action. But as an avid anime/animation watcher, that reference intrigues me because we often think the opposite. We often think that animation is the bases on which live action strives to imitate. Great take though, I’d love to hear your thoughts about this. I might do an analysis of this difference on my own as well!

Simple, because it's all digital animation. So you can make the characters do anything physically since they aren't held back by realistic movements. Also, with animation you can pretty much create any setting you want no matter how fantastical. The budget a movie like The Incredibles would've had if it were live action would've been through the roof.

There were good ideas and great action scenes in that one too but... it did not flow and dance the way the first one did. A decade ill spent on that. I wonder what could have been if they didn't try to inject so much unnatural social commentary instead of just building on the core theme of a family of supers.
