I have one. Best chair I’ve ever owned.

u got it from xtra or from other suppliers on lazada/shopee? last I check xtra doesn't have the logitech version yet to try it out, any idea that's in already?

Just so you know Shawn. Not sure if you found this during your research but the first Embody was designed in 2009. That is 13+yrs ago and HM has not changed the way they've been built or made including the knobs so there shouldn't be any issues with the levers and knobs. The Embody is time tested and it's designed has not been changed for over a decade now so you don't need to worry about anything wearing out or breaking or else their 12yr warranty would have you covered. No worries my friend. HM has got your back.

yes!!! was waiting for your take for awhile this is the GOAT chair Embody > Aeron

So which one do you prefer compared to the mirra 2 ? I currently own both and have to return one of them, and yeah the embody issue is the warmth and I do feel the floating sensation more in the mirra.

Hahaha that’s a great question! To be honest I think the Mirra 2 is better, more affordable and more breathable in my climate. I’d use the Embody for the office where the AC is on all the time :)

@@ShawnKoh Yh i wish I had the option to get the balance fabric, but it is 17 weeks of wait in my country as it is brought from the US. Currently with the SYNC and it does not breath at all.

For me its not. The lumbar support is too aggressive for me. You cant really adjust the tension of it. So if i lean back with my shoulders then the lumbar support pushes even more forward your lower back. Also it makes some weird noises left and right of your legs where you can adjust the depth of the seat. You can only adjust the armrests in 2 ways height and wide but not front and back. They also make noises in specific areas. The backrest too (but it was the least annoying noise). The fabric is a fkn magnet... I had the logitech version and holy moly it collected every dust particle in my room. Dont want to know if you have a pet like cat or dog.. Especially the part between seat and backrest. It sounds like its the worst chair in the world, no its not. Its still well build and felt like a quality chair. But i've end up buying an aeron remastered (fully configured) type c used for half the price and its sooooooo much better. No pain, not a single noise, cant collect dust, so many adjustments and very solid build. The only downside is that you cant use all the "fk the ergonomics" sitting poses in this chair because of the metal frame. But overall it feels much better for me.

WHat stores might have this on display.. any ideas?

Have you head complains about the chair rounding your shoulders? People also say you cant really sit upright on this chair as it rounds your back. If you look at the backrest its concave. Any thoughts? Thanks

So far, in my own experience, the backrest doesn’t round my shoulders more than other chairs, but it also depends on where your shoulders are positioned. The higher they are, the less likely the concave-ness of the chair will affect your shoulders :) but always best to try it out at the showroom before buying :) hope this helps!

I had the embody twice, the first time I did not know how to sit in it and returned it. The second time I fully relaxed into the backrest with a mirror on the side to check if I was rounding forward. Adjust the backrest so that it fits the best your spine, then don’t fight the curve of the backrest but try to fully rest your back into it. If you relax correctly you should sometimes feel variable pressure in the middle of the spine coming from the poking things in the back moving with you. Truely a good chair, but if say it need a week to get used to the hard lumbar support. And it lacks breath ability if not for the balance fabric.

I ended up getting a Logitech Embody and its is great. No shoulder rounding issue for me, and I think I have it set up right. Such a great chair, my Aeron Classic C is back up now :P

i still remember like a year or more ago u mentioned herman miller chairs are too expensive and u cant afford to buy one unless someone sponsored u. fast forward today u already reviews the aeron, mirra and now embody~ back in those days you tested gaming chairs....royale..secretlab ..yucky tier chairs hahaha

its a creaking wobblefest. aeron all day hands down.
