My dad was an honorable FBI agent in the 1950s. At the time, you either had to have a degree in Juris Prudence (law), or a degree in Accounting. So the FBI's use of accounting goes back a long way. That's how they finally got Al Capone, on tax evasion. They always follow the money trail.

She is currently receiving radiation treatment as a matter of fact. She called her out at one of the meetings. Thank goodness I'm not from Dolton but I sympathize with them. I do some reporting on her but send people to Hannibal's channel to really get caught up.

In any other community, the accounting, check writing, and important record keeping is done by trained people who know what they are doing. Once Henyard blocked the regular village employees from doing their roles, she became individually responsible for much of the village spending, accounting, and record keeping.

I hope the town has learned it's lesson and take steps to prevent this type of corruption in the future.

There's 336 hours in 2 weeks. Minus 313 hours worked, equals 24 hours left. So Officer Terry Young worked 24 hours around the clock without sleep for two weeks and was off for only 1 day during that pay period. The math ain't mathing.

Why isn’t the Thornton Township finance director Robert Hunt subpoenaed? There’s no way monies can be released from the township without Hunt’s stamp approval!!

I say Tiffany is looking at everything that's going to the Federal Investigation, if she doesn't then there could be misconstrued answers they want. To do this by herself, I don't know, that would be extremely difficult, So probably someone helping getting all the records or some at least. But I figure the FBI were and are having several people looking into this whole situation before they get anything from Tiffany anyhow, Basically to see what matches or is a fraudulent statement, if any.

Holy smokes I had no idea the subpoena was THAT extensive. The party is over.

Well, it gives me hope, but she still is the operating mayor of th Village of Dolton and Supervisor of Thornton Township. She just authorized a massive amount of money on water mains work that news reports say are being rplaced with structurally unsound work. So, she still is doing damage in the Village of Dolton. They have to get her out of those seats ASAP.

@@WgB5 They don't need proof of altered records, in fact most of the pertinent details are already public record or available from other sources like banks & vendors. She may have loyalists, but they aren't particularly smart about hiding the flagrant misuse of taxpayer funds... virtually any of those credit card receipts or bank account records are sufficient. Abuse of office is easy to prove with contracts awarded to affiliated businesses who then grossly overcharged for their services, and all that documentation is already widely available. Tiffany is cooked.

Something should be done that’s for sure. Corruption is out of control!

The big question is this, are the Chicagoland trustees, legislators learning from this and changing ordinances to prevent the theft or are they licking their chops vying to be the next crook? I haven't heard a peep from anyone anywhere about changing the status quo.

Did anyone see mention of the annual financial disclosure forms mentioned in the subpoena? When I was a county employee, we were required to fill one out every year. And does anyone know if she filed her 990 for her organization?

Corruption in Illinois is a long festering cancer that seems to never go away.

I would love to be on the Forensic Accounting team that analyzes the books of Thornton Township. We know that there WILL be massive financial irregularities that will send a few individuals to prison. If TAH thinks she will get off with a short prison sentence she is sadly mistaken. I cannot wait for the outcome of this investigation.
