    +Jacquelyn Rutchik It's 18" by 13.5" but they come in a variety of sizes.

    The good things about these kind of boards is that they don't leave that much cutting marks and are easy to both clean and sanitize, which is crucial to me. The only downside is that they are the ugliest boards I have :). I simply can't get over that LOL. And frankly Epicurean boards are even more ugly than my Sage boards.

    +A Freethinker Yes, but the fact that you can throw them in the dishwasher makes up for a little less aesthetically pleasing board.

    The Chopping Block You can throw the sage in a dishwasher too lol. It's not a requirement for me though. But here's a more valid counter argument: Sage boards really makes the knife blunt. I only just discovered - after I wrote my initial comment - it's not me, it's the (Sage) board! I need to find more reviews about your alternative. It needs to not leave deep marks, not chipping and able to withstand bleach as I use thin bleach to sanitize. Thanks for your response as it spurred me to rethink things.

    A Freethinker No problem. We use Epicurean boards in our cooking classes and they see a lot of wear and tear, yet hold up well. Check them out!

    The Chopping Block Yes I most likely will. Boards which dull the knife is a big no-no. I sharpen the knifes myself, so now I have increased workload at home :)

    But don’t use a an electric knife with these boards…
