The opening is so iconic easily one of the best comic book movie scenes of all time!
The appeal for Batman to me is that he is the peak of human determination and strength without needing any supernatural powers to get the job done and is unyielding in refusing to kill criminals, even the Joker who more than deserves it. Also, in Batman Beyond, he still feels like a badass even as an old man, but still feels very human.
I really liked the evolution of Batman from vengeance to hope. It was literally perfect! The movie in general was a masterpiece.

One thing I love about this movie is its so visceral. There's no hyper choreographed finesse hand to hand combat, the first fight scene we see is him walk up with loud ass military boots and just beat the ever loving crap out of some goons. It's all real physical violence that you would expect from a street fight. Everything in this movie feels so "heavy" but in a good way
The best Batman movie... It feels like the movie moving on his own genre, from action superhero into a riddle-horror movie. I can remember clearly every plot of the movie, unlike those superheroes movie which targeting kindergarten.

This is a really good video! I'm only halfway through it and I'm really enjoying what you did here. I realize that this is the first video but if I had one critique it would be just to slow down a little bit on your exposition. It feels a little bit like you're reading a book report. this is an excellent review wow. just amazing esp for the sub count dude. congratulations and i can’t wait to see more from you! this was so in depth you have talent. if u want critiques on how to improve (otherwise ignore this), text titles to cut the video up into sections really help me, i think most people enjoy them as well. and then pausing more between sections, letting the music come in a bit, and then the title over a rainy shot of gotham. cut the music out, screen to black, start a new background track, and begin your next narration. that’s just a common technique i’ve seen that would have helped me keep track better. if that’s not helpful again ignore this really stunning video! thanks for sharing

Really great essay!
Loved the video, good writing here I do feel the struggle you might’ve had when recording and editing here though, since you read this video INCREDIBLY fast- but it was either that or have this thing run for 50-60 minutes. I did see room for maybe a 2-3 part video series with the different overall themes you touch on but as a small creator it probably does you a lot better to have it all in one video… Condensing the script probably wouldve been the best bet here, might have to omit some details like scene/character descriptions every now and then, especially if you’ve already talked about them, but I think you could probably just put in a video clip of the thing you’re omitting Good video overall

I'm liking your breakdown of the movie, but as a professional video editor, I really only have one note - slow down. I understand the feeling you have to get so many various points across to your audience, but read through them a few times and get a feel for what isn't really needed and let your script breathe a bit. I'm subscribing because I'm pretty sure you have a lot to offer in film analysis. I can't wait to see how you grow in this endeavor. Plus, you have a natural flow to your video editing. This was such a great video!!Earned a sub! (quick note 9:07 it's not the same character, the first man we encounter is thought to be Joe Chill as he recognizes Bruce despite Bruce at this point not being a public persona, and as soon as he hears his name his face drops, immediately retreating into the shadows like the monster he created, he's labeled as a bitter nobody in the credits, and Bronson Webb played the Riddler goon, he was also previously in The Dark Knight) God I sound pretentious sorry if it comes off that way, but when you get an understanding of who that character is it adds so many more elements into the story which is why I wanted you to know!

Stop rushing bro just be yourself 🙌
This and the long Halloween animated film are two of the best batman anything I've ever seen, I loved Affleck's take (even the killing since that was the whole point of his storyline), but Pattinson really did something special with the role and I'm excited to see where the spinoff show and next films takes this version of the character.
@Koluvuma

Bro I love the long Halloween animated movie. My god!!! I’ve seen it like 4 times. It was that movie that made me love Harvey Dent so much that’s he’s my number 1 batman villain. The batman is my fav movie ever as a batman comic reader. Have u read batman: black mirror? It’s soo good it follows dick Grayson as batman.
I had no faith in Robert Pattinson as Batman, but after seeing the film...he may just end up being my favorite live action interpretation. I grew up watching Michael Keaton and Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors all-time, but Pattinson did an outstanding job with this iteration. I love The Long Halloween too. I'm hoping we get Mr. Freeze, Manbat, Clayface, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow in this series. The tone is right for these darker characters. Especially if it's these villains, with the Court of Owls in the background
I’m so excited to see where they take the next films. Kinda bummed about the joker tease if I’m being honest, I’m kind of joker’ed out. Especially given the multitude of amazing villains Batman has had over the decades that we’ve yet to see nailed on the big screen.

Best batman movie EVER and i hste almost all of the newer movies bring made and not judt superheto movies this should have won an ward in all honesty especially with the realism and lack of CGI
Yeah, I love this movie so much. Don’t get me wrong. I also love Ben Affleck and his version of Batman but we never got to really see him in a Batman movie. I guess one of the things I really love about this movie is where we are in Batman‘s story. I was so glad it wasn’t an origin story. I really don’t think we need another Batman origins story anytime soon. my mother is 66 years old and never read a comic book in her life and she knows the Batman origins story but I am glad that it was a story that was early in his career. In Batman begins we kind of see one time where Batman doesn’t have a grasp on a situation when he’s dealing with scarecrow but after that, he’s kind of on top of things and doesn’t make too many mistakes. This Batman, who is on his second year of being Batman is in a situation where it’s the first time he’s dealing with a citywide crisis . You can tell her up to this point she’s been stop being robbers and rapist and drug dealers and he’s been beating the crap out of them but he’s never had to save the city before and it shows sometimes that you can tell this is the first time he’s been in these kinds of situations. He doesn’t have powers and yes, he does need to learn how to be a better Batman that’s by design. The Ben Affleck, Batman is pretty much Batman in his prime, he’s been Batman for 20 years and that’s why he is able to stand shoulder to shoulder with Superman, and wonder woman, even though he doesn’t have any powers, because the one thing that version of Batman has that this one doesn’t is experience . Like when he’s running away from the police is on top of the building, you can tell he’s never had to jump off a building before in an emergency situation and he’s kind of just winging it and hope it works because that’s what would really happen if a person was really trying to be Batman. But the story and the feel, and the dialogue of this movie, I’m just in Gotham city and I’m on the edge of my seat the whole time. I don’t know if it’s better than the dark Knight, I’ve watched both movies in the same day before and it’s like comparing apples and oranges for me. I do know this, it is definitely the best live action movie. We have got that features, Batman in it since the dark night.
I really wish I could feel this way about this film, but it’s just fine. Last hour really blows it IMO, gets bogged down in unnecessary shit and the riddler final plan/reveal is truly underwhelming
When I first watched the movie, I was like "Ok. Cool Batman movie." And I kinda just moved on. But it was just recently when I realized how much of a masterpiece it is after rewatching it, and it's videos like these that put all my love for it into words. Great video! Keep up the good work!

It just ..does! This is The Batman... Batman is not a Joke in this nor is he portrayed as impervious. This works because it portrays Batman as he was in many of the early comics from the 40s. Originally, the Police of Gotham did not know what to make of Batman. Was he good, bad...a misguided vigilante? The dark knight was as much of an anti hero as a crime fighting " super hero" The Batman captures his " dark side" and does not portray him as an overgrown boy scout! Superman is a " goody goody" Batman is dark and gritty! He's also a master detective. Batman almost Always works with the police of Gotham.... In This film, He doesn't Need them to do his work! It's just a Great movie!! 👍💪👏😆🦇
