Great review, better than a lot of the big channels Earned my sub.

Excellent review. Now my daily driver. Had Garmin 255. Matched it in all the main areas like distance and pace run. Can set your own HR and training runs are easy to set. Looks great. Unfortunately for as good the Garmin is...and it is, it is way too expensive and looks like a toy out of a lucky bag. No going back for me.

A verdict such as "Ultimate" is very bold considering that you haven't tested the accuracy of the given metrics.

Depends on what you're looking for in a watch. Amazfit have the looks, the graphics, the long battery life, a plethora of metrics but they are still far from being accurate and consistent. I previously owned the GTR3 Pro and I know. Between those two, I would choose none. I would go for a Huawei instead whose accuracy are next to Apple. I'm currently on hold for the upcoming GT4 Pro.@@brucelin5842

@@brucelin5842 I would never consider the 165 as I'm not a fan of the Garmin's cheap quality, nor their ecosystem which tends to be counter-intuitive. Besides, their HR sensors are not that superior and accurate as some reviewers had us believe. In fact, I am seriously considering to go back to Amazfit and get the Balance.

Congratulations on the article!!! Making a comparison with the Amazfit Cheetah Pro which is better. Especially for sports use, considering the GPS and the PPG biometric sensor?

I own the Amazfit Cheetah (not the pro version), and I think it has more or less the same accuracy.

Hi do you have a video showing the calendar options? I use Outlook and Im looking for a smartwatch that can sync and show my meetings, do you think its good for this Amazfit?

Awesome video. Have you tried connecting to external heart rate strap while you are listening to music from Balance via Bluetooth headset? I wanted to know if two Bluetooth devices can be connected at the same time. Thank you 😊

Sorry for late response. I've tried it: 1. Amazfit Balance + Connected to BT headset (listening to music stored on watch) + BT Heart Rate belt = works normal 2. Amazfit Balance + BT Heart Rate Belt + Connected to phone that connected to BT headset (listening music on phone, while Amazfit Balance works as Media Player controller) = Works normal. I've tested while workout.

Where did you get your mp3 files?

No pace zones. Heart rate zones based on a max HR of 220-age, no custom value (30 BPM too low for me). A single vibration at end of a workout step without a countdown & without audible warnings. No scheduling save AI but only up to 10k. Not for serious training.

I just got one, it doesn't vibrate, no feedback, although the vibration is on for alerts and crown, DND is off, find watch from the app works but the watch doesn't vibrate :( I believe it's defective.
