My mom is a teacher and she taught in the same school for 30+ years. When she left the job due to excessive pressure and work load her salary was 13k rupees. Now she takes tuitions and easily earning over 30k with much less workload. The Indian education system is not only a loss for students but for teachers also.

I had gone through all these situations, I used to enjoy teaching to kids, but the only reason I had to quit was bizarre low salary, now I am stuck in a corporate world, here I am paid good but my heart is still in the class, if teachers are paid enough in India, I am sure they'll do wonders, teachers need both respect and good salary package 😭😭

I had been a teacher myself for the past 8 years in Carmel convent school which is one of the most recognised institution in India. The reason why I resigned after working for so long is the school had almost forgotten that a teacher's primary job is teaching. They made teachers to write heaps of lesson plans every week, fee receipt books filling of 70 students every month, 7-8 set question paper handwritten plus soft copy every three months and even guarding students for as long as one hour while entering and leaving the campus. So basically teachers are clerks and security guards more than teachers. It used to be so hectic that we used to get sick every two days and the principal didn't even bother to pay attention to this.

Everyone thinks our job is so easy because we don't stay back till 6 or 7 o clock. But they don't know the time that we stay in, all our energies go away. We have to shout, teach, control our classes, counsel them, take part in programs- dance, sing. So much. We really don't get paid accordingly either. We are not just a teacher, we are more like mothers. ❤️

my father is also a principal in govt school . he has encountered so many non supporting techers in his journey. but recently the case was very wierd. usually govt schools have that batch wise system of appointing teachers. so 99% of teachers are those who stopped teaching after b.ed degree and are now going to teach at the age of 45+ so recently one female teacher joined my fathers school, she wasnt coming forward in acadmic and non academic activities. so when my father talked to her about this, she still didnt do anything now my father recieves a call from her husband, he asked my father to stop asking for work from his wife. and said stop HARASSING HER WIFE. after one day he recives call from an MLA candidate {he has never been an mla but his party is in power} , he asked the same from my father. and even said that he will have to take strict actions against my father this is the condition of our education system my father wants to release the recording of that mla call but he cant because they will transfer him to a remote area just shared it in comments please dont use it in any video

I personally don't like people getting educated. Educated indians get americanised because they learn english and start watching western entertainment which is degenerate. They believe that american values are greater than ours. Because of this students lose a feeling of nationality, they stop believing in our religion. Girls wear short dress and behave like sluts and boys start supporting this, because of which relationships between wife and husband is unstable. Fuck the education in our country. I would rather have uneducated, united and religious Indians than a bunch of skinny weak boys and half naked sluts unworthy of marrage. Appreciate the govt.❣

You have chosen a great and huge topic. All of the information are true to the facts. I am also a private school teacher and I also have to go through these things. I would like to add one more thing that most of the schools in semi urban areas put an uneducated business minded person on top of the management who takes the final decisions, even above the principal; means the death of education. The teachers are treated as if they are mere servants to them. The managements run their schools as grocery shops, not as schools. Their focus remains only on making money and depriving the teachers, parents and even if the education of the students. This is harsh but this is reality. Thank you so much for upholding this issue.

She also provides home tuition to elite families kids. So, I would advice all teachers to try finding jobs in top level schools like dps, gd goenka etc in your particular states to get high pay and try out home tution by charging per hour. After so much experience no one deserves to be paid like peanuts. Best wishes to all the teachers❤

I am a teacher myself. Been an Assistant professor, now though in an R & D laboratory, I still do some teaching during trainings and workshops along with some guest lectures. But I had to move away from full-time teaching now due to some really bad situation of the teachers in Degree colleges with less permanent positions, uncertainty with contract or Ad-Hoc positions and sometimes overtime for clock-hour basis teachers. I cant tell you enough how hard teachers worked during pandemic with online sessions, I wonder if students could truly appreciate the efforts taken considering the pressure or admin work along with teaching and also the confinement of given time-frame to complete the syllabus. We do try to try out of box ideas to inculcate new methods of teaching but it is not possible always for everyone. Teachers try their best and all that in such a substandard payscale.

As teacher, i agree with your video. Teachers in private sector, especially those who teach languages and other compulsory subjects are underpaid, under appreciated and over utilized. The institute taking the marks certificate as a guarantee is one of the worst things to happen. Later they make it hell for the person to get back his certificates. On many occasions i refused to submit my certificates and lost the job but i dont care. I'm not interested to get blackmailed later. In some institutes eligible and qualified teachers are rejected and least qualified persons get the job just because of less salary. Students dont pay heed or respect to students because their parents take teachers name and work very lightly because they think that by paying the fees they have bought the teachers and the institute and behave in the same manner. In our childhood when parents visited the school to meet class teacher, we used to sweat out of fear. Nowadays teacher has to sweat out of fear. Hope this comes to end someday.

But they also asked me to submit pre signed blank cheques in advance bcz as per govt rules they cant pay us less than 22k so they used to pay 22k every month and then withdrew 10k from those presigned cheques. In their books they record that they are paying 22k not 12k. This is so painful. Most if the schools donot even give an offer letter to their teachers and many teachers even work for 15 years as temporary teachers. So they are no ground rules or they are ignored altogether.😔

And i believe that schools must focus on every child they also give opportunity to only some students who are really good and the rest are just ignored. They only appreciate them and take the credit as these students are capable to manage things themselves. But the rest are never appreciated.

All things said in the video are accepted and I truly believe in this side of story...but there is another side too...some teachers deliberately dont teach well in the school and they indirectly force students to join their personal coaching classes where they will get better teaching learning experience and they are favoured in the school exams too... This is a sin which most teachers commit in today's time.

You are brainwashed.. there were no or very less gurukul, mostly brahmins used to teach their family members at home that to rituals to perform different occasions like marriage, death, grih pravesh etc and some of them used to teach kings ,zamindars sons that to bare minimum.. All you hear nalanda, taxshila etc were Buddhist universities and were distroyed by huns, Brahmanism and lately by islam

I have studied in private school since kg and in junior classes there used to be lots of teachers for each sub but when i reached middle school i was shocked to see 1 teacher teaching almost english, grammer, geo, history alone and he took those subjects with his own so that he can get paid more even tho he was not experienced history teacher still he used to just read paragraphs and about science 1 teacher used to teach all 3 science subs and the teachers turned so toxic because of thier workload that they would take thier anger on students i was a victim of that as well.. They used to force me to take thier tutions cause i used to do self studies and didn't thought it important to join tutions they taunt me even cut my marks for no reasons in exams and if students would demand seperate teacher for science or History those 2 teacher will burst out on us 🙂

Teachers who build tomorrow 's future, they themselves are afraid of their future. I am a private school teacher with 15 years experience but still struggling to earn ₹20000 a month. Why there is so much negligence shown towards private school teachers by the management and government?

You can start channel even after joining school as a side Hustle. You tube channel also takes few years to grow. And you are not going to engage yourself in video recording and editing for the entire day, So utilize the time. 16000 is starting pay It's good for gaining some experience. See, making videos for you tube is totally diffenet from working at ground level

Thank You for making video on this issue, I joined in a college as lecturer in july 2023, they promised 12K ( I'm a fresher, Msc & B.ed ) but they didnt give me as promised, they gave me 10,850 ( they took 150 rs as PF and cut down 1K for no reason ) I asked the management, they said they'll pay it and its been 5 months we didnt get the salary, recently a day before ugaadi salary was credited same like 10850. I understood whats going on in the college& resigned in the end of March. The work ive done but salary is so less, University held examination invigilation money werent given too. I started hating the profession and i didnt want to give much attention to the students but i felt im disrespecting my own profession by thinking this, so left the job.

No one talks about the pain a teacher goes thru. I regret that even today that I did a B.ed course, i wish I should have done an MBA and earned well.

When I was on class 10, in my school there was a teacher who is very good in physics, but he was inactive in school and too active in his tuition. In that time, Our financial condition was not good enough to provide private tuition. So, We got nothing from him in school. He is now retired but his coaching centre running on another level.

I'm literally crying right now. Guess what.... even if this video gets viral, the condition of teachers would remain the same. You're talking about work-life balance??? It doesn't exist for us. It's only "work" in our case.

Lots of thanks to you sir really a very pitiful condition of teachers in Pvt Schools and most of the Pvt Schools are in English medium where in India challenges are more for teachers to teach and give good results they suffer more for all the reasons and praised less for good results.Managements take credits for good results and teachers r blamed for poor results.

Aapke most of the points ekdum sahi the but last point ki teachers trained nhi hai. Balki trained teachere ko bhi achhi salary nhi di jati hai private schools me ab vo local area me ho ya high school ho. Salary unki qualifications ke according hoti hi nhi hai.
