I went to a conference as a brand new believer, and really enjoyed it. So went again the following year. They were playing Led Zeppelin immigrant song as everyone was entering, which was shocking. Drum n bass in between speakers. Other strange things. Repeatedly advertising the main leaders books for sale. I was disgusted, and needless to say I was not going to return. It was not long after this that God really woke me up to the fallen church. But it looks very glamorous, popular, clean, and prosperous..

Wow yes this is why it's important to read the word of GOD for ourselves so we aren't decieved by charismatic speeches. May we endure to the end in Jesus name!🙏🏽

I've seen conferences where the speakers take a deep dive into the Gospel and provide apologetics and I think that's great. Then you have the "Destiny Conference" where your destiny is "activated" and you "learn" to walk in God's authority. Those kinds of conferences need to go away.

Amen! By far, most of the conferences I attended were emotionally charged motivational speeches and entertainment. The more I studied my Bible the more I was able to discern where and how to best invest my time and money.

Those conferences are just fund raisers.. ❤

UH OH!!! A special anointing!!! Man please, leadership.... really. The only thing these people will lead you to is your back pocket and tell you to continue to wait on your break through while you break them off with your finances.. SMH

I spent so much money going to conferences....went into debt behind it. When my credit card bill got sky high I put the brakes on all of it. It was a conference every month, with 2 to 3 night hotel stays, conference fee, food and plain tickets. I LEFT THAT CHURCH I ATTENDED AND ALL OF THAT STUFF ALONE AND BEHIND ME!!!

Great video observations! Just so you know, the International Prophetic Conference which you included is nothing like the rest of the conferences noted, of which I have had my fill. This one is about the prophecies concerning the endtimes. It has nothing to do with networking. It is solely about preparing for The Lord’s Return. I live in Cleveland so I do attend. The churches these days don’t like to talk about the last days - it doesn’t make for good offerings I guess. This conference is very different.

I really support the biblical basis for confronting these leaders who a use leadership a d harm the sheet with their love of money, aka evil. I agree with most of your points. A woman shouldn't usurp authority over a man and Deborah's do rise up when leadership to victory is not found among men. I provide therapy to so many women and children. Survivors of male pastors who have abused them. Not to say women are better, just to say that female Pastors don't have to usurp authority but they do have to fill a need when men don't step up. No debate, just sharing my conclusion from Bible studies. Keep up the great work!

The title or role, “women pastor” is not biblical. What many fail to understand is the NT epistles present a new paradigm for God’s people, i.e. the church, the body of Christ. This paradigm involves an authority structure unique to the church and therefore does not apply to nation of Israel or any other OT entity. So although God used women such as Deborah in the OT for special service to Him, e.g., to lead; she and other women in the OT are not biblical examples to support women being pastors in the NT church. There is not one example of a woman being a pastor in the NT. God ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual authority in the church. Men are to set the example in spiritual leadership. So to say that women have to fill a need when men don't step up is essentially saying God is not able to raise up men to fulfil His purpose or ordination and that is simply not true. God can, has and will raise up men to lead His church. We are to be obedient to God and walk in the roles He has ordained for men and women severally. We must ensure our thoughts and conclusions always coincide with the Word of God and that we do not exceed what is written.
