My father was 5'5", my mother was 5'8". They had a good marriage that lasted 57 years (until my father's death at age 81). We kids grew up in a household where a shorter father and a taller mother were an everyday fact of life, so we didn't really acquire the male-taller bias that affects most of society.

Money isn't nearly as important as you would think. I have dated women who were more successful than me and never had a problem with them paying for everything. If a woman likes the guy and she wants to go somewhere the guy can't afford, she'll pay for it.

Let's be serious. If a man is confident, height means nothing. I have dated women of all heights. 4 of them were over 6 feet tall, the tallest being 6'4" and I am 5'7". As long as the guy is funny, interesting to talk to, confident and goes for what he wants, he will attract all types of women. Guys need to get this "out of my league" mentality out of their head. As Cindy Lauper says in her song, "girls just want to have fun." That's the truth.

Despite the fact, that I'm smarter, massivly more educated, better looking and know how to talk, he's collecting womens numbers and kisses like ass while women not even roll eyes when they see me. The best chance however for picking up women isn't the club (to much competition of taller men) or pubs (not that much competition, but fish still not bite well), but drinking coffee in daylight at your preffered cafe or flirting directly on street! Wow! Lots of negativity here! I'm 4'11" and my wife of 17 years is 5'8". I've dated women between 5'0" and up to 6'4" and have had great times, romance and now a wonderful family. I have ALWAYS believed that some may not have wanted to date me because of my height and it is OK! I have my preferences too, but there are PLENTY of women who date/love/marry smaller men. It's no big deal, if one says no, ask another one. Women just want to be loved and appreciated the same as men do. I got a great wife by just being me.

Height is one of the determinant, as studies prove, but not the only determinant of attraction. Lack of height adds to the initial resistance, but once you overcome this phase and establish an emotional bond with the women, other things like love and care would be more important factors more than the height.

If she got over, or didn't care about your height to begin with, then she's not suddenly going to cheat on you just bc you're short. It's because you're not meeting her emotional and/or physical needs, just like when men cheat. Short guys CAN trigger her "protection" instinct. Go to the gym. Get ripped (notice I DIDN'T say jacked. Ripped, not big. Low weights, lots of reps or calisthenics.) Train in MMA, boxing or other martial arts so that tall dudes aren't always punking you. You'll be surprised at how much your life will change once you start carrying yourself like you can handle yourself. Taller guys will pick up on it and won't be so eager to push you around, and women will find you much more attractive. I say this as a 5'6" guy that spent half his 20's bemoaning his height.

I don’t care about how tall a woman is, I would be happy to have a good woman. I am 5’ tall and when a woman asked me how tall I am, I then asked her, do you want a good man or a prize trophy? Sadly in the real world, women do not date short men. Just because a man is perfect in height and good looks, does not mean that he will be a good man, especially in bed. I want to please a woman sexually and make her want it again, unlike most tall men who could careless about a woman’s sexual needs. But I would give her my heart and make the relationship fun and wonderful.

I'm 6ft and my husband is 5'8... he's nowhere near the smallest guy I've had a relationship with. Everyone is short to tall girls and the tall ones don't recognise us! He encourages me to wear heels, I literally tower over him, his pride makes me so much more confident and I feel powerful. This is just my observation, but I notice some tall men don't date tall women but stick to short girls. I remember observing this similarity when I was in high school, which leaves a lot tall women missing out on dating taller men. Besides, I heard some tall girls find shorter men to have better personality than tall men. Also, it seems to me that short girls care more about height than taller girls.

As a man, I’m lucky to be 6 feet tall. Where I live in South Florida, most women absolutely ‘refuse’ to date men who are shorter than they are. Many of them put on their dating profiles that they ‘will not’ go out with a man who’s under 5’10” - and that since they like to wear heels, that a man “must be” a lot taller than they are. I spoke to an attractive woman who’s 6’4” and she told me that a man’s height doesn’t matter to her, to which I replied: “You’re so tall that if a man had to be taller than you to get a date with you, then you would be ‘dateless’ for months at a time.” She agreed with me. So, there’s some truth about height not mattering as much to ‘freakishly tall women.’ That being said, most male/female couples consist of a taller man and a shorter woman. My smallest adult male cousin is 24 and he’s only 5’3”. Every woman he’s ever dated has been shorter than him.

A 5'9 or 5'10 woma is tall but not freakishly tall, is is not abnormal. A 6ft plus woman is abnornally tall like a 5'3 man is on the opposite side of the spectrum. So yeah you are right, but normal height men on the short end of height and normal height women on the tall end are normally viewed as abnormal and they simply ain't.

My ex wife was 6ft 2in and I'm 5ft10in tall we had great times together and height wasn't an issue. the height difference between us had nothing to do with us breaking up. What broke us up was that while I was deployed to the Mideast she had an affair. she didn't think I was aware of her activities while I was living on a tank in the Kuwait desert but I had been informed by a friend of mine that lived a few houses down from ours. I didn't care why she strayed all I knew was that for me it was over so I started the amputation process. She asked me why I was no longer affectionate. I told her that she knew perfectly well why my feelings had changed. Eventually she took the hint and shoved off.

I'm 5'5 and the worst rejections I have received from women specifically for my height is from women 5'2 and under. for example... I was trying to introduce myself to this women whom even though she was in high heels I was still obviously taller then her. When I introduced myself she looked me up and down and said "Ewww your like only 5 foot tall, your not even considered a real man" while taller women are nicer while saying "I'm sorry but I can't do the short guy thing, but if you were taller I'd be all over you". lol at least taller women have more class while rejecting short guys . I am short and bald (horseshoe male pattern baldness) so that's a double negative that severally effects my dating chances unless I want to date women with 3-5 kids from other men or unhealthily obese. It's always height first and to women there is only TWO heights your either short 5'9-5'11 1/2 or your tall 6 foot and taller while anything under 5'9 is invisible to women. And remember you can do and say all the right things and still find out that she's only into tall guys. Don't get discouraged by that. Pretty soon you'll meet someone who appreciates you for the man you are. There are way more important masculine qualities other than how much vertical space a man takes up lol.

I’m a 6’2 22y/o dude and I have to say I prefer shorter girls cause they tend to be more feminine. They actually enjoy the girly role in the relationship. Truth is tall chicks actually like short guys, they don’t want tall dudes. Tall dudes want submission from their women, and I don’t think it’s easy for tall women to be submissive, hence they date short dudes cause they don’t really have to be as submissive there. But short girls actually like being dominated so them and tall dies perfect match. Basically I think tall people like to dominate( hence both tall men and women pick shorter partners lol).

Funny how it works out. Tall women want taller guys so they can feel petite and short women want taller guys because they want to feel dominated and protected Women under five feet tall want taller guys so their kids have a chance to be tall. The only women that will accept shorter guys 5'6 and under are usually morbidy obese women or women that have 3-5 kids and they will accept a shorter man because they are settling cuase they can't get taller men no more.

The guy was a decent looking guy dressed well and seemed like a good guy hanging out with his friends. I can't believe woman are using the same rejections to shorter guys that I heasrd repeatly for the past 30 years. Thirty years... You would think women would have evolved and come up with something else besides "sorry I don't do the short guy thing" When the guy walked away I over heard her telling her friend "omg can you imagine if we we're together? people would think his my little brother" Oh and btw he was taller then her.

I hooked up with a smokin' hot 35 year old (I'm 27). I'm around 5'7 and on my best days, 5'8 tops. This woman who posessed sexual prowess and amazing head skills was about 5'11-6'0. I made her laugh, feel sexy, and yeah she was way into kissing me when I had her in my arms and we shared a night of passion. Funny thing is her teenage boy is 6'3, which has me to believe her ex hubby was a tall dude. Height doesn't mean anything and I've dated girls who were the typical "I only date 6'0+" because it's the confidence. It's the same reason why I'll see bitter girls who are bombshells wondering why the hunk with muscles is dating a bigger girl and not them at the gym. People's character and charm go a long way.

I wish there were more tall girls. They seem so rare i don't often one. I'm 5'6 and women always told me i was too short even though they were 5'1. I sadly rarely met girls that were either my height or taller. I really wouldn't mind dating a tall girl but i always thought they wouldn't want a shorter guy. I'm glad i was wrong. If i meet a tall girl i might try my chance to see how it goes. And you're right short girls are the ones that scream about wanting a tall guy the most. The shorter they are the taller they want the man to be.

I’ve accepted certain facts in life like being short. And I think I’m confident enough and not bothered by it anymore. But like most short men. At some point I did also think that most, if not all women all want tall guys. Like 6ft and above. So I’ve always approached women who are at most only about an inch taller than me and I don’t mind at all if she wants to wear heals. I didn’t know there are some really tall women who don’t mind men who are significantly shorter than them. That’s seriously good to know! 👍🏼 I might just go and find me a tall one. I realize I actually like tall women. I was just under the impression that they won’t even give short men a time of the day. Lol. Wish me luck! 😜

Wow I'm 6'1" as a girl and I can confirm his way of thinking. Because almost everyone is smaller than me I don't give a damn about hight. I was almost always asked out by guys that were smaller than me. The only problem was the age gap. I'm 17 and because of my hight a lot of people think I'm around 24 or 25 and the thought of dating a guy who ist 11 years older than me really scares me 😅 so I always reject them. But when I'm older I definitely wouldn't mind if a man who ist shorter than me would want to date me.

It is only recently that being a tall woman is an asset. My mother is 5'10" and was very self conscious of her height as a teen and twenty something. She suffered the inverse of the short man complex where I consider being tall an advantage, such as when I play sports. It is all about what makes you insecure about yourself. Insecurities are a huge driver of behavior. In the past a short man could make a tall woman feel good about herself because he understood the self doubt that came with being different. The narrator of this video is using logic in place of emotion so misses the true motive force behind peoples behavior. Short men would often seek out tall woman to prove to men that they could have them regardless of their height. We surround ourselves with symbols. If you do not understand this you will never understand yourself or others.

Im 5’3 and i don’t feel short most girls is shorter than 5’3 unless if you live in Europe or something , but there’s so many girls who is 4,11 or even 4,9 I think the girls who is 5’2 is the most perfect hight for a women hight isn’t problem for me most girls told me that iam handsome and non of them told me that iam short , sometimes i like some taller girls because maybe she has a nice face ... and so many girls don’t mind if you have a great personality and handsome face and she probably will forget your hight if you have a perfect body shape .... so it’s not a problem they are horny just like you they just need anything just like you do ... they just like saying things like we want big boobs but we don’t care about boobs . So it’s isn’t a fucking a big deal . We are all different it’s a genetic thing you don’t chose your hight . So just live your life with the body that you have .

A basketball player was 6 foot 1 and had small man syndrome..That's not a bad height for a basketball player actually.Isaiah Thomas is 5 foot 9 and still playing in the NBA.

I'm 6 foot 5 and 1/2 in tall and I don't run across very many women who are even 5 foot 10 and they don't really give me any special attention. The women who like a really tall guy are women who are a bit tall but mainly fat. Tall heavy set women are super attracted to me but that is not what I'm interested in at all.

Most of my rejections were specifically coz I was too short so IDK wtf hes talking about, girls are the ones who make a big deal out of height, men make a deal out of weight, most guys don't give a fuck how tall a girl if, if shes hot shes hot. On the flip side, at least 90% of women want a guy taller than she is as a minimum requirement and short men just have to deal with it and look for the 10% who doesn't mind.

Most models want a dude with some kind of money or fame, in decent shape, and is usually their height and up. Ok so I’m 5’6” and I’ve dated 3 women much taller than me one was 5’10” without heels. With heels she was about 6’2” and you are so right at first they didn’t think about me and I never targeted them but although I’m not tall in height I’m a mental giant, I’m fit Handsome and I can Box= Fight, I can solve almost any problem so yes in my arms she is like a little girl. It’s strange how this works but it works almost every time. As a short in height man just don’t even think about the fact that you are looking up a her pay it no attention stand in your power and watch her Fall, she won’t even know she is falling. I even had one taller than that and larger big Butt, Breast, and she was totally into me 100% to the point guys would ask me How? What did I do to her? If you have enough physical attraction to provide her and you can fill the gaps your missing through your personality shit can work and I've gotten hit on quite a bit by taller girls, girls like a lot of different physical qualities not just height, sometimes it's not enough and height will play a factor but not all the time, it depends on the girl.

The vast majority of men are too scared to get out there. I've been in plenty of clubs and seen too many men hugging the walls and watching the successful guys get all the women wondering what they have that he doesn't. I have also seen those guys who start the approach, hesitate and lose their nerve at the critical moment and then wonder why they can't meet women.
