If the quality of the figures are way better than the original G.I.Joe line and the make figures from G.I.Joe the animated movie like Big Lob and Pythona then I am 100% in!

more complex design? they are making cartoon accurate.. that means LESS detail.. and they might look dumpy.. I want them to have MORE detail and look BETTER than the cartoon. Re-watch the old Cartoons, its nothing like we might remember... they look really awful now, looking at it as an adult.

😎 If they sell them Around $12 to $15 each I think a lot more people would buy multiples and also troop build. But at $20 or more that's Too high in my opinion and I would only pick and choose certain characters If I even buy any at all at that price! But I'm glad they're doing it and putting stuff out there For collectors who've been wanting this for a very long time. Hopefully Hasbro will join in and release o-ring and 4 inch figures also.

They wanted to do O-Rings at the beginning but Hasbro wouldn't let them. Flynn did an interview stating they have been trying to get the ability to do the O-Rings for almost two years.

Yeah, Hasbro are a$$es for having Super 7 launch a whole line, then giving approval for O-rings. But I'm happy they can do it now.

I think I'm selling my classified and going all in with super 7 o-ring.

Excited? YES HOWEVER The One and Only Draw Back is the Price Point. This is the MAIN and ONLY Reason I passed on all the other Super 7 Joe Figs. Talk about gouging.

The new o ring figures must have swivel elbows just like the figures in 1983 and wrists, ball jointed necks just like the figures in 1985.

O-ring green shirts and steel brigade would be awesome. 10 each. Modern 4 inch would be incredible!!!

I liked to be excited for O rings. They'll look great I'm sure. However, at $20 I'll just continue to buy the 25th anniversary figures. There's a few reasons Super 7 GI Joe reaction and Ultimate's are going on clearance at a lot of retailers. Its the price point cause they ain't selling. Super 7 has a potential homerun here if they play it right but it's a bloop single at $20 for a O ring. Here's a market tip for free. Bring back 25th anniversary style and articulation at a $10-12 max price point and this line will go crazy for Super 7.

I thought this too but then remembered how bad some of the head sculpts on 25th are and I would image Super 7 might get really nice toon faces on these, but time will tell.

There is great potential here. Whether I spend money on it or not depends on the end product and the price. I could see myself either being underwhelmed or going all in and spending hundreds of dollars with glee.

I am sooo looking forward to the Super 7 GiJoe O Ring Figures! I'm hoping for more muscular Gung Ho & Roadblock figures. Maybe even taller scale 4inch characters (Serpentor, Destro, Nemesis Enforcer, Gung Ho, Roadblock, Road Pig). I also hope they will go into other lines for O ring figures (motu, pota, wwe, aew, thundercats, tmnt). That would be Awesome!👍🏾

I just want Wave 3 of the Ultimates to come out already

No room at the inn .I was gonna go tvc when I first started but I wanted Joe's I'm over 200 plus figs there is no way that I can be in on this .Can't start over .Also feel like Super 7 is more pricey .Look at there ultimates .I looked at the sales and was just like nah...

Even at $9.99 for the Super 7 figures is a bit much for 5 POA articulation.

$20 a figure is a little steep. But the fact that they are so cartoon accurate had me put these in a shopping cart a bunch of times. But ultimately the lack of articulation is why I always put them back. If they add an “O Ring” that’s going to SERIOUSLY cut into my “FansToys” budget and shelf space at home!! Yo Joe!

I hope they re-release every figure from 1983 through 1990. I very much want the chance to be able to get all those I no longer have again in my lifetime for a more affordable price. I would love to them released as two packs. I really don't care for any of the new sculp figures that have been released since 2003. I think the ones that Super 7 have already released could have been a great alternative to the 0 rings if only they had been made with the bendable Elbow and Knee Joints articulation of the 80s 0 rings that were used to during the 80s and early 90s. (See the 93 release for Snake Eyes!)

But Hasbro started bringing back o rings. Why this? I’ll save up for the Hiya figures if they ever show up. Also agree with you on StarWars. The day I started collecting Gi Joe is the day I stopped collecting Star Wars.

Since 1982 Hasbro has NEVER gotten that head/helmet sculpt right on the Cobra Troopers & Officers. All the iterations throughout the original & subsequent O-ring lines have never been true to either the cartoon or the card art of a Hasbro-owned property. This is something that I never understood. I have high hopes for the Super 7 O-ring line, but I already have a feeling that desirable or even rare figures & army builders are going to be scalped to death by geeks to sell on the 2nd hand market. This is going to cause an artificial scarcity @ retail & inflated prices due to hoarding or resellers...

i would say that gi joe was bigger than star wars back then but it was not because it was better, it was because star wars didn't do a damn thing. i didn't know anyone that didn't want star wars but there was nothing going on. it was so slow with star wars

I might pick up select o-ring figures but probably not many. They will have to pretty amazing to top Classified. The Joe sub-lines hold zero interest to me, even in Classified. Glad that others will be able to pick them up though if they want them.

If super 7 did them with 25th articulation but in O Ring I would be all over it! As they look great in toon colors but I want all the articulation that the 25th-50th line gave us !

For me it's a pass only because I'm invested in classified.

As a former original Joe O-ring collector growing up, and now only Classified, after this was announced I’m now leaning heavily towards going back to collecting the O-rings full time, and Classified very selectively. I really hope to get the Crimson Twins, Duke, Roadblock, Sgt. Slaughter, Cobra Commander, Zartan, Destro, Rock n Roll, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow in the initial lineups, and deep cut characters like Big Lob.

Whatever happened with this? Haven't seen nor heard anything about this line in months

I hate O-rings. I bet Super7 is gonna have quality problems.

I love the o-rings, but I hate super 7... lol... I think the line will fail, sadly.. unless they reduce the price point.

20 is too high. if the figure has a vehicle that is different imo

If, they’re going to be $20 a piece like all the rumors say and they’ll look like the cartoon version of the characters…. Then it’ll be an easy pass for me. I’m sure I’m not the only Joe collector who’s going to feel this way.

Lol looks like kring super 7 dead 6 months after announcement and nothing on preorder and no announcements. Line stated to be out by fall not going to happen since super 7 doesn't make anything without having order .indium covered by preorders

They're not gonna sell very well at $20.

i'm all in the price doesn't bother me at all I'm cool with $20 and we'll see sales here and there like everything else. people that think the price should be less than $20 are wishful thinking and honestly out of touch with the market me personally I'm all in

Bringing back O-Rings is going backwards. Erasing all the progress they've made in the past 40 years. Just imagine if Transformers went back to the original bricks we used to have. lol

wow, lotta shit talking comments. people love to hate on what other people like I've noticed since classified came out, (and I love classified I collect all of it,) but since classified came out, it brought a lot of trash, gutter boot collectors into the G.I. Joe line always talking shit on vintage and O-ring they act like these new announcements means what they like is getting canceled. We have more Joe product to choose from Then we have in years most of you here know what I'm talking about. We've gone through dry spells. It's actually a great time to be a Joe fan. Some of these poser collectors need to get their head out of their ass!!! yeah, I said poser that right there. tells you I've been in the game a long time. 😂

Not interested in Super7 o-ring figures because they're too expensive. They should be half the price.

They will be $25. Cheaper to buy loose lots and get figures $3 to $5 and sell extras. Majority of collectors don't want this or will support it, not unless they are $10 and it can't be done. O-ring has been a dead line and money loser since the 90s. It would be simply to lose money, and Hasbro knows it's a dead line. Hasbro however losing 125 million and losing another 200 million in 2024 are making more cutbacks to spending and budgets, fewer releases and they want to license their IPs to other companies so they can foot that loss, like TF or Joe. Super 7 makes trash, its garbage collectibles, not toys. When you are getting 8x as much for a Vala or Classified at the same or fewer price point, people will stay with what they have been collecting or they will collect cheaper masterpieces or G1 figures. Even Hasbro is losing millions just because they put retro classified on card back, they need to put them in numbered classified boxes and have a single line. This will just be a huge pass like the mothership, nostalgia doesn't hit as hard as it use to and that generation is fading. The best thing Hasbro could do is a TVC joe line and I think most collectors are burnt out on all the garbage variant and reuse and the next 10 BATS coming.

Super 7 figures are trash. I have no idea why fans cream themselves over O-Rings. As a kid, I hated them and as an adult--who has experiences the quality 3.75" figures with fantastic articulation that we got just a few years ago--I have no clue why people care to see these return. The GI Joe Classified series is somewhat flawed, but they can knock it out of the park on occasion. The new Hawk and Ripper figures are so incredibly awesome. When it comes to 3.75" figures, starting with the 25th anniversary figures, we had some amazing figures. And now people want O-Rings? Jesus. The nostalgia is strong, because O-Rings are inferior in almost every way imaginable. Super 7's ReAction figures (or whatever they're called) are low effort figures that are way overpriced. Their new crowdfunder is embarrassing and the tiers (if they manage to fund it) are garbage. Of all the GI Joe toys out there, Super 7's popularity is a complete mystery to me. Just like the O-Rings popularity.
