I visited the casino this last Friday and it was dead af. It looks very expensive inside, but their casino is one giant high limit room. They aren’t matching status. They’ve had three top executives quit since they opened not even a month ago. I think they’re gonna struggle.

I really did like the burrata and hot honey slice I got at Miami Slice. I gave it a 10/10 on the first bite but the crust actually brought it down to a 9/10 for me.

Hope to stay there soon. Just joined their players club this weekend. The cocktail service was great and their Chez Bon Bon is delicious and affordable. I had the $15 roast beef sandwich which was huge and delicious 😋

Nice! I’m staying at the Cosmo this summer but might spend a night there 😊

I stayed at Fountainbleau for 4 nights. I love the ambiance and food is great! The staff is very friendly and I am just in love with this property. I have stayed everywhere Bellagio,Aria, Wynn, cosmopolitan and I feel that fountainbleau has just raised the bar ! The casino floor is huge . I don’t think any property has such a huge casino! I would definitely stay there again! I don’t why people talk about everything being so costly. Las Vegas is expensive.

I had the Leek Bacon slice at Miami Slice, and it was delicious! Would recommend. My BIL got the same pepperoni slice w/honey drizzle and had the same reaction as u did. It's def a beautiful casino!

@Jaycation Fair enough Jay, the old shots of Hawaii from the 80's might tempt you though, and John Hillerman as Higgins is probably the best character from the 80's. It really is beautiful. The architectural build is interesting. I noticed there are no hard right or left turns no matter where you are walking. It just flows around gentle bends, which is nice as one is less apt to collide with someone coming around a sharp corner. Great architect firm whoever it was. I probably wouldn’t stay here though. It’s too far north from the center strip where you can just wander in and out of different properties. They are very expensive, which is to be expected. I don’t need all the glitz and glamor. A clean room and comfy bed is good for me. Being more center strip is more important to me. There is more to do, sights to see, cheaper restaurants. They will find the customers they are targeting eventually. Thanks for the review.

KYU's a fantastic restaurant. Instant favorite for us. The short rib and baby back ribs are perfection. Its the only reason we return to FB again and again, tbh.

I've settled in pronouncing Fontainebleu like fountain, but without the U. More like Fahn-ton Blue. Listening to that song it kind of sounds like that. Everyone really leaves the U sound out of it. In any case I don't get the hate for this place. Looks pretty nice to me. I'm hoping the north strip picks up and this property is successful. They may have to settle on low-luxury prices or upper mid pricing for being so far north, but we'll see how it plays out. If they try to price with Wynn, they will lose every time, due to location. I think the moving art is designed it mimic tidal waves or something? Great video, hopefully I can stay there one day! 🎉

This is the perfect spot to avoid a big crowd. This means that I can always find the slots that I want to play and don't need to wait in long lines to get food. The location gives you the comfort in isolation from the rest of the busy strip. If they can lower the room price to around half then I would definitely stay there next time.

We just came back from Vegas yesterday. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to check out this hotel inside, but we did walk by. Talked to a local who’s lived in Vegas for over 20 years. She doesn’t think this hotel is gonna make it. Not enough guests. Hopefully, it will turn around. Hotel is gorgeous. Also, did you notice the bow tie in the sculpture above your bed?

Hi Jay, great video. Thank you for staying and reviewing the Fontainebleau for us. Wow, what a beautiful property. I will definitely visit the Fontainebleau this spring for sure. I plan on getting a reward card a gamble, so hopefully, they will give me some incentives to stay there in the future. I will definitely take the 12-minute walk over to Tacos El Gordo for lunch or dinner, depending on when I'm there.

Nice room tour - looks like Fontainebleau has hotel accommodations experience. I hope they elevate their casino program as they learn that Vegas is not Miami because their current program is laughable. You can doooo it, Fontainebleau!

I’m coming here for a Sick New World side show in April, and I was curious about the food court. That pizza definitely looked good, though I’d probably skip the honey as well. Doesn’t sound all that appealing to me. I’m staying at Resorts World for that weekend, so this is close by. Not really sure how I’d classify this place. Bellagio is elegant, Wynn is absolute luxury, Aria is bougie, and I’m not sure what this place is yet. Looks nice though.

That room might be better than the basic rooms at The Wynn! 😀

Thank you for the thorough review. I agree with you that the room color scheme is beautiful. It’s a nicer version of the renovated Bellagio resort rooms with better drawer space and additional seating. I still hate shower only bathrooms, though I know Fontainebleau has rooms with a smaller shower and soaking tub. For me, there are so many negatives that I would not stay here, especially at current prices: 1. Awful location. Until the surrounding area is built out, I have no desire to spend most of my vacation dining at overpriced restaurants. I love a good walk, but not around there. 2. The casino. If I want to gamble under nice crystal chandeliers, Cosmopolitan already exists, and has a better energy. 3. Atmosphere. Just like at Resorts World, the retail section looks like shopping at an airport. Opening with so many retail and dining options not ready is unacceptable. For me, Fontainebleau and Resorts World have a lot in common, mostly negatives. Unless someone builds an NBA arena or a similar entire to draw regular crowds to that area, I expect both to struggle. At least Resort World has the Hilton brand to draw in customers.

Jaycation I haven’t seen your videos around too much on my recommended list? I was thinking of your channel and I am often thinking about a lot of ideas. Do you think locals of Las Vegas are HAPPY locals and is Vegas a GREAT place for a single guy to live as opposed to say San Diego which rated very high based on a site I saw. Vegas has always been the city of SIN or SiN CITY but what is the SIN that Vegas is most famous for?

I think you meant to say usb c, not usb 2.0, and honestly I'm shocked they have that. That is a really nice feature since pretty much all phones use that now.

LIV is the Roman number for “54”. “Studio 54” was the hottest nightclub in NYC in 70’s-80’s. Fontainbleu in Miami opened in 1954.

I’m sold and I hate the strip. Maybe I will give it a go.

Jay, my daughter and I just got back super early Thursday morning from a bereavement trip back home to California and then onto Vegas to bury my moms ashes with her mom and grandparents, and we were budget staying using my Choice hotel app and I made the biggest mistake staying at Circus Circus 😢the bed was uncomfortable there was mold all over in the shower the USB port didn't work there was no amenities in the room at all no coffee maker no microwave no fridge. I think there was an ironing board and iron and a blow dryer. And the lights were so dim in the bathroom I could barely put my makeup on correctly. And it was so windy and so cold on Sunday night and Monday night that the only thing we really did was drive around and go see my best friend from high school and we saw my moms high school best friend and my cousin so that was nice.

I didn’t hear any excitement in your voice or actions about this hotel. When you’re excited about colors and designs of hallways mmmm. Yes, the room is very nice but the prices of food and drinks not so great. Also, a cocktail in a plastic cup at a sit down bar very cheap and not classy. I know you paid $15-$20 for a cocktail in a plastic cup. As a local I have no desire to go there except to possibly walk around and see the casino. Also my wife and I can find rooms at resorts world for $79 during the week on many days in every month. I haven’t heard anybody truly excited about this property. 😢😢

Worst customer service hotel.

Holy shit. Rudest fucking staff in history. We canceled our reservation right there on the spot. 1 hour to exit parking. The place is like a big mall. Looks nice, but boring and pretentious af. I'm glad you had a great time though!
