I stay to be Catholic not because of priests but because of Christ. Christ is the one who saves me, the one who forgives me, the one who loves me. He sacrificed for my sins, he suffered and died for them. I love Jesus.

My dad once told me that we should look at the perfect God not the imperfect priests when we contemplate on leaving the church. Thanks Father Soc for another inspiring homily.

Napakatapang ni Father Soc para magbigay ng gantong homily. Ako ay isa sa mga Katoliko na di umaalis kahit ang daming mga pari na hindi magaling magproclaim ng salita ng Diyos. Meron pa ngang mga pari na babasahin na lang sa bible ang sasabihin eh nauutal pa. Madalas walang connect ang homiliya sa binasa. Kaya nakakatuwa na may katulad ni Father Soc. Para syang isang tali na magbibigkis sayo sa simbahan nang hindi ka masasakal. Yung tali na hahawakan mo para maging gabay. Salamat Father!

ba't parang naiiyak ako? Maybe because my husband is a return catholic from born again prior to our marriage and ang hirap ng situation na ako yung ng aask na mag simba which is dapat siya ang ng iinitiate 'coz he's the head of the family. But i must not be dismayed and dapat ipagpatuloy ko yung pag invite sa kanya na mag simba. (Help me God 🙏) Thank you Fr. Soc for another inspiring homily. :) Why i stayed Catholic?
