I love how Post goes from how helpful it is that the casinos have pamphlets regarding gambling addiction, with a number to call. To how nobody ever really calls, and how it probably isn’t helpful at all 😂

First time I went to the casino I won $150 or so. Second time, lost $170. Haven’t gone a third time. I do enjoy fantasy poker league though. The only cash you spend is on food/drink at whatever venue is hosting. Even then, you can still play for free and win up to like $25-$50 credit at that venue/bar/restaurant.

Not exactly. I gambled for the first time when i was 22 and apparantly had a horseshoe up my ass for almost 2 years. My entire casino fund was made up from my winnings. Now eventually they stopped putting 100s of dollars of comps on my card but tbey always wanted me there. My 100 dollars buy in would turn into me bringing like 6 grand every time going like 3-7 times a week. The point is, eventually you are going to lose it. And i did. And once i started losing i stopped going. So he very well could be winning, for now at least. But eventually hes gonna lose, u cant beat it, not even blackjack without a team to count for you and call you in when its hot.

there is no such thing as "being good at gambling" "he wins alot". Especially when you gamble for a long period of time, you just lose more and more. Unless you hit it really big one of the first times gambling and then can realize "ok this will never happen again im completely done" theres no winning in gambling

I mean you can got to Vegas and not gamble at all. -Amazing food and some of the best steakhouses in the country -Incredible drinks and cocktails, at basically any hour of the day you want -Spectacular shows across performance art, acrobatics, music, stunts, and magicians -Cool shopping malls and things to blow your money on where you'll actually get something in return But for some people, the only reason they go to Vegas or other resorts is to find ways to blow their savings and emergency funds on gambling. And 'self-termination' rates in Las Vegas are pretty high because of it. If you're gonna gamble - set a nightly limit and don't expect to win. I see people destroy themselves every week.
