Nah sorry his darkness was 100% him. He had alcohol issues and would constantly lie and cheat on his girlfriends. Remember when he told Louise he couldn’t respect her because she took him back after cheating on her? That wasn’t the show’s editing, that was all him. Glad to see he has matured now.

I think he was misunderstood. I actually think he’s a good guy deep down. He’s married with 3 children and has stopped drinking so he’s doing his best to live a good life!

In my opinion it was his alcoholism and addiction to steroids.

Uh, yeah? Viewers take it too seriously then think they're a terrible person. It's fine when people think you're great because you just take the compliment and don't think about what they've been watching. They just think "that's nice, they recognised me off the show". When people think you're terrible for "hurting" someone when the whole situation is fake, then the actors are being negatively impacted and can get a lot of hate. It's not like a normal acting job, they're using their real names to represent a partially made-up character. It's got to mess with your head, playing a character who happens to have your life, your voice, your relationships and your name. It must be easy to lose track of what was really or fake, especially when there's so much press and people throwing in their opinions. At some point, you'd get sick of it and just want to live your life without everything being a storyline or having your business in the papers and online.

@@possum6562 I presume they have a choice and sign a contract that means editing footage will occur and also get paid. So like the people in this show, they can either stay or leave if they don’t like how they’re portrayed. But if you’ve been filmed being unkind, then really, who should you blame?

Spencer, always remember not to cha ge who you are. The world loved you for being you. So what, you dropped a few pairs of knknickers, it's very normal, despite what anyone else will think. When your lads grow up, they'll just know, you're the best dad,crhey won't care, they'll remember who was at home. You're both very blessed.❤❤❤

All the characters/people were deplorable and devoid of reality, that's why it was popular. It didn't become funny until Jamie, Proudlock and Frances joined.

It's Jimmy's nephew that's why - he hid his original family name to seek fame in the industry. There's lots of stories circulating about his childhood & being bullied. I heard Jimmy helped him milk a cow once whilst blindfolded

I really like Spencer and Jamie as human beings. I know Spencer was given a hard time for being a womaniser on Made in Chelsea but when Hugo, Caggy, Spencer and Millie left the show, it just wasn’t the same. Although the girl who said “why you getting all up in my grill? was funny but can’t remember her name 😂 I’d love to hang out with them both on a night out ( not that it would happen lol)
