Chapter 2 was when a lot of comp players started to play. The casuals started to play less. But Early CH2 was peak especially CH2S2, S3, and S4.

In my opinion, more people started to stop playing from Chapter 2 season 5 and onwards. Most people liked early Chapter 2 with Midas, the mythics and new map, but from season 5 it went a little crazy.

2:13 the graphics might look better but they lost the original art style they were going for back with stw they should’ve stayed true to the original game

I totally agree the cartoony art style Is one of the appealing aspects of Fortnite It gave It character and, set It apart from other Br’s at the time. I’m one of the people who loves Fortnite’s original art style and, I don’t like It when they try and make the game realistic looking the best example I can come up with to explain to other’s Is If Team Fortress 2 got rid of their cartoony design and replaced It with a dark gritty realistic design similar to the beta design’s before TF2 came out.

Just remember people are sad over the game changing, change is needed to make the game popular, if it was the exact same since 2017 the game would be dead rn

That says more about the game not having longevity look at csgo the game has been the same damn near since it came out with a few graphic updates and very few content and it’s still one of the most popping games Fortnite has to change its gameplay completely every what 4 months just to get its name buzzing that’s really bad it would most likely have better longevity if it was drip fed content (meaning very few updates) gettin a update every week for a game isn’t always a good thing honestly believe Fortnite accelerated its own demise instead of focusing on fun gameplay and good balancing they want to make it a playable advertisement the game would be probably be held in better regards if they just slowed down with the updates and development of the seasons the Fortnite community was expecting a new season every like 3-6 months that’s ridiculous if the game needs to change constantly for it to be relevant it never had any longevity to begin with

I personally think chapter 2 season 1 being soo stale and long was the reason why people left, after that season was full of content every week (unlike now which is why I am playing less and less) then at chapter 3 season 2 I left since I think there weren't any moderately big changes season wide and recently came back at last year October. (I started playing around Chapter 1 Season 5)

They're too busy adding emote filters so kids dont get offended rather than fixing the Hundreds of game breaking bugs in the season right now.

Ive trusted fortnite to give me the best experience they can and they have, ive never left the game since i started in chapter 2 season 2 (not that that makes me better) although fortnite has made some odd choices and i miss donald mustard the game still holds up today and in my opinion is still one of the best games ever made

for my opinion fortnite fell in ch2 season 4, the news about a whole collab season was the beginning for fortnite to lose his identity, like adding collab weapons (some of them are way to op), npcs in the map, the secret skins now are just collabs. fortnite was good when they just listen to the community

Couldn't agree more, I played during season 2 -season 9 but stopped in chapter 2. I came back at the medieval season and basically haven't stopped playing it since. Other then maybe for a couple months around then.

Chapter 2 had the best seasons of any chapter in my opinion

Chapter 2 is clearly more superior than chapter 1. It had way more content, better mechanics, better story, better events, themed POI’s, bosses, vaults, animals, and a bunch of other things that made the game fun

Ok I could see chapter 2 season 8 is when people leave but the others seasons were good especially season 2 others beyond season 3 were meh did not like season 6. Season 7 was ok except the alien aircraft’s that spam. But my favorites are season 2 and 3. Season 1 of chapter 2 was ok.
