Smart is really good. As it gives you the tools as well as the answers. Addresses the causes that are unhelpful thinking styles. Something that twelve step programmes dont do. And the horrible label that goes along with other groups Doesn't exist with Smart.

I tried Smart Recovery and although i felt the science was solid the implementation using untrained or self trained volunteers made the experience chaotic. I eventually just white knuckled it.
