When both sides clashed, she essentially committed suicide by surrendering herself to the angry mob. Her friend Vautrin then ended up tracking down the ones who were responsible of the false accusation and killed them to take revenge, whereas he was declared guilty of and sent to Méropide, where he established the Mutual Aid Society.

Sigewinne can say all she wants, but the actual truth is that Hoyo wanted a playable melusine but they knew that since sigewinne was a melusine they would have to make a brand new set of animations for her such as walking or running(because obviously melusines move around differently from humans) and since they didn't want to do that they just made her into a human so she can reuse Klee's animations and just came up with some lore explanation as to why she looks like a human now.

@@AyaAishi-qt1zn the key difference in my opinion is that Sigewinne had her sisters and her "fathers" , Elynas and Neuvilette Meanwhile Scara lost everyone and when he tried to ask Ei for help he was presumably ignored by the shogun (way to treat her big bro but alright...) and when Yae tried to help Dottore fucked it up My question being: Would have Scara turned out like Sigewinne had he been entrusted to Miko in the first place (artifact and weapon lore imply she cared a lot more than she claimed) and how Sigewinne would have turned out had she lost everyone.

Glad Sigewinne made it through all this way and still loves the medical role! And the backstory's kinda nice too!

Yes, and giving Sigewinne a new model just for her would also be problematic and unlikely to pay off, since there are a certain number of people who consider melusines “ugly” and “uncanny.” Making Sigewinne human was the safest option, yes she may not look as interesting, but she is also actually special since she doesn't look like others Melusines And it really suits her character and makes her stand out. Guys, read the Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods artifact set. There is a witch in Fontaine and also the character in the story has similar reasons for going to her. It fits. Not every witch we hear is Gold (an alchemist) or Alice.

I wish they tied her looks to Mamere's and Ann's quests, by claiming that she was born this way due to human blood mixing with Elynas wounded flesh and mechanical parts instead.

There were only 3 ways this could have been explained: She was a half Melusine, meant her father married a melusine Hoyo didn't want to bother making a new model and just used the default loli model Magic, pure and simple. Seems like they played safe

Tbh she could waited for her friend at the end and meet her. Bcz there's a chance that her friend would still be with her.

If you play the story quest you find out that Sigewinne was imprisoned shortly after drinking the potion

This witch I think it has something to do with group of witches which Alice (klee's mother), rhinedottir(albedo's mother), it may not be them but a part of their group

They've been toning her down a bit. It's still grating when she gets explosive, but in general her voice is a lot muted by comparison. Still not great, but at least its not nails on a chalkboard.

This one little snippet of Sigewines story was better than the entirryu of Arlechinnos story.

now when I realize it, all regions have 1 playable character that is from the region's special race (Xianyun as adepti from Liyue; Kirara as Yokai from Inazuma and Sigewinne as Melusine from Fontaine.) Perhaps they can make playable characters from Aranaras in Sumeru and from the Eye of the Storm from Mondstadt

I liked the half melusije idea way better, and this reeks of retcon. It also doesn’t piss off really annoying parts of the fandom anymore and that’s sad.

Sure, you could say Hoyoverse didn't make a playable Melusine model and instead chose to be resourceful with what they already have is why Sigewinne has human features. Well be that as it may, the decision made sense in narrative knowing the discrimination faced by Melusines since they first went onto the surface of Fontaine. Sigewinne exchanging her identity as a Melusine to save her friend is a reference to Little Mermaid where Ursula made Ariel human in exchange for her voice. The potion part where Sigewinne changed into a human can also be a nod to what Shrek did in Shrek 2.

It sounds like Siegwinne’s story is similar to the little mermaid in some elements Siegwinne the mermaid while her human friend was like the prince And siegwinne wanting to be a doctor was formed due to their friendship The witch giving her the concentrated sin that would turn her into human It’s just like how the people of Fountaine would gain their human form as well In the end she had to leave her friend.. Oh it’s such a sad story 😭
