Just trying to understand or my math wrong.... 2 percent of 3.5 trillion is 70 billion not 700 billion and 2 % of 4 trillion is 80 billion not 800 billion! Am I correct or wrong? Other than that math, this is a very interesting and informative video.

During Manmohan Singh's tenure as leader, India's GDP grew by 2.83 times and GDP per capita grew by 2.5 times. In contrast, under Modi's leadership, these figures only grew by 1.67 times. Therefore, Singh was more successful in boosting the economy than his successor. It may be wise to disregard the opinions of blind supporters of the current regime.

Was there anything like covid or Russia Ukraine war or israel Gaza war or America exporting it's inflation or a global recession during manmohan Singh's tenure? Before you call me a bjp bhakt, lemme tell you I am not even a desh bhakt. But yes I do think bjp does a better job than congress. It's fine to compare the performace during a tenure of 2 PMs but you need to look more than just numbers. Numbers doesn't provide context. Edit : to the BJP supporters, I have heard many BJP supporters say that india is growing only because of Modi and that congress is not good for anything other than corruption. I disagree with that too if you think that. I do think it could have grown better during congress tenure but India is where it is today (good or bad) because of all the prime ministers who served the country till date.
