Shotaro really introduced the idea of Cyborgs to Japan, something in which would become a mainstay concept in Japan. It's also his work on Cyborg 009 that spawned classics such as the Megaman games by Capcom. His influence is so great that animes such as OPM and MHA wouldn't be the same if it weren't for him, even if both of those animes are influenced by the western superhero genre.

Also the manga Kinnikuman by Yudetamago influenced both One Punch Man and My Hero Academia, but that was in turn influenced by Ishinomori.

Shotaro Ishimori is the king of all Tokusatsu Heroes and, not gonna lie, I see him as an amazing creator and one of my favorite manga/tokusatsu creators. So I like to thank Shotaro Ishimori for the memories that he has given to me forever 😉👌

What I love so much about Himitsu Sentai GoRanger from 1975: 65% that Himitsu Sentai GoRanger is the first Super Sentai series! 10% because of the beautiful suits! 10% because of the wonderful music! 10% because of the wonderful story! 5% because of the beautiful, idyllic graphics! This is an awesome and comprehensive video. I respect Ishinomori a lot. Many of his works deal with similar themes and concepts, but they’re ones that really resonate with me, and the questions he asked and kept trying to answer in his work are ones I ask myself over and over again, as I think most people do. What does it mean to be human? When will the war end? Why do we always fear and discriminate against things we don’t understand? I think that’s why so much of his work can be appreciated even if a lot of it is similar. The questions are earnest and sincere, and ones we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives.

The Special's name is Hero o Tsukutta Otoko Ishinomori Shotaro Monogatari or The Story of Shotaro Ishinomori, or the Man Who Created a Hero. I'll just give you the link because it was damn near impossible for me to find drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZvDPOkldqAerXvKrYhXZxcnIMFGMVAEa That being said the special has no subtitles but if you're still interested I highly recommend you watch it.
