I wouldn’t say Shimo bowed to Kong, but that their relationship is more like Godzilla and Mothra, a symbiotic relationship based on trust. After defeating Scar King, Kong earned Shimo’s trust and became the new leader of the great apes, truly earning the title of King Kong.

Agreed, it's similar but different to Godzilla and Mothra. Godzilla evolved with Mothra and she evolved alongside him. Kong is a King, not in power but in heart. His alpha status is empowering others around him since he doesn't have the raw power Godzilla has.

I think part of it has to do with Kong being an orphan that he has developed this habit of picking up strays, the island girl that was killed by the Kraken, the Titan Hawk, Jia, and now Suko and Shimo and the rest of the great apes.

It’s not even close to G man and Mothra’s relationship. Their bond has existed for million of years. Pretty evident by the biological adaptation they take for one another. Mothra and Godzilla are able to easily communicate through sonar since they are so in tune. In the novelisation Godzilla gained permanent heightened senses after Mothra’s sacrifice which allowed him to find Kong even though he wasn’t in his so called “territory” in Kong vs Godzilla. He was also able to sense Kong underneath Hollow Earth because of this. Mothra has adapted her wings to have the eyes of Godzilla. The relationship that Kong and Shimo have are more akin to a rider and their mount.

Next movie should be about Godzilla and Kong fighting about who got the best Titan wife 😂

In the film, Shimo (when free) saw the boy Godzilla charging up. I say she froze Skar King for that of another reason, because she'd die either way.

She’s just grateful that Kong freed her

Kong could have taken ownership of the crystal and didn't. He treated shimo with respect and she was going to return to Hollow Earth anyway because Godzilla will not risk her staying long term on the surface

@Phoenixfede1989 Suko destroying the crystal wasn't apart of Kongs or Godzillas plan That was Sukos essential revenge against Skar killing his father figure and holding Shimo over them all for God knows how long it was So I don't know whether for certain Kong would have or wouldn't have used the crystal but he certainly would have taken ownership of it had it remained intact Kong is in no way cruel or vindictive like Skar King but he's also not one to pass up a beneficial weapon for morality
