Jeffrey Dahmer didn't have loving parents as a kid. His parents chronically fought, his mother emotionally abandoned him, & his father was away working all.the time. He was left to his own thoughts & actions with no love & guidance.

Naming him together with highly sadistic SK's was also not correct. Most actions he did, to his unfortunate victims, happened post mortem.

i had a psychology professor that pointed out how humans aren’t very different from wild animals. indeed we are mammals. if you think how young children behave it’s rather brutal, like animals when they fight over what’s theirs; food, young, etc. it’s only that we are taught how to behave by our parents (usually) & higher intelligence of what is socially acceptable that we aren’t “wild”. our instincts aren’t a lot different from other animals, some animals are kinder than others even among species.

Some people but not all are like wild animals. Something is wrong and misfires inside their brains. But not all people's brains are misfiring and acting like wild animals. Or much worse in most cases.

Humans are the only mammals besides the aquatic ones, whales, porpoises, manatees, and seals, that cannot walk on their own until about 12 months after birth. They are super reliant on being nurtured.

I did the math when he said Manson was 73, he actually died at 83 in 2017. That means this was from 2007-ish. The way the rest of this documentary sounded, I figured it was pre 9-11. The one guy referenced Donahue for goodness sakes. Plus so much of their “newly found knowledge “ seemed to be a few steps behind our understanding of them today. So, idk, I’m of the opinion that this is several interviews spliced together from the last 30 years. It was sorta archaic and outdated.

The use of the word "carcass" to describe the victims is so disrespectful. The word, by definition, used to describe dressed animals, regardless of whether in the wild or in a slaughterhouse. They're *victims* not animals.

Serial killing is pretty disrespectful. The bodies were in the process of being butchered and EATEN. The word was well chosen to convey the horror of the state the victims were in.

In the end we are all just meat, honestly though. I do agree with OP that it is a disrespectful way to term somebody’s loved one. I don’t care what u call me after I’m gone but if you’re speaking about someone I loved- youd better use their name only. Not even “victim”. That’s NOT who they are to me. They were more then what became of their last moments. Although, this video isn’t taking about who died, but who killed. A shortcoming of media that we know everything about the killers and gloss over their victims

Dahmer killed his victims quickly and as painlessly as possible - then he did horrible things to their body. The reason he gave for killing was so that the young men couldn't leave him. He is not the same as those killers who tortured their victims prior to death.

This video was kinda entertaining to watch but I’ve rarely seen a “documentary” about serial killers so full of nonsense! So much misinformation and factual wrongs throughout the entire video. So my recommendation to the people who watched this and doesn’t know a lot about the subject already but was interested in it is to go watch other videos or read some books instead. There’s a lot of great documentaries on KZread about dahmer, Ramirez, Manson and all the other serial killers. Serial killers that make Ramirez look like a church boy…
