Yoriichi, Muzan and Kokushibo were the strongest individuals during the Sengoku Era yet neither Muzan not Kokushibo were ever able to give even one hit to Yoriichi

@@FewestCafe2353 No, it was not the first era of demon slayers. Demon slayers existed for 700 years before Yorrichi using nichirin blades, but without breathing techniques they were really weak. The proof of this is that a demon slayer found Yorrichi sitting there with his passed away wife and child and help Yorrichi burry them then brought him into the demon slayers crops

Newer Generations didn't know the demon mark existed. The mark was probably lost after Yorrichi died, and up until Tanjiro, there were probably only a few individuals between the 1000 year gap who wielded this power. But yes, the Sengoku period was the strongest period next to the Taisho period, which is mentioned in season 1

The mark was probably false, because when kokushibo turned into a demon yoriichi almost killed him but died in old age and he didn’t want his brother to die. When kokushibo saw the flute they he gave to yoriichi he started to cry

Kokushibo decided to become demom when he learned that marks would kill normal breathing users at 25 years old. Kokushibo wanted to live longer to perfect his breathing technique to keep up with yoruichi but he would be dying at 25 since he too gained mark. After he became demon, they never met again until their last meeting. Yoriichi was ready to kill kokushibo because he didn't want his brother as demon but died of old age. Kokushibo cried after yoriichi death because he does truly loved yoruichi but because of his jealousy he was forcing himself to hate him.

According to Gyomei's dialogue, it seems that he had already awakened that mark..

We got Tondreau from his father with water, breathing and sun breathing techniques from a swordsman that knows different unique styles from a Hira. Definitely there was many demon slayer back in their day and has different combinations of their own breathing techniques. Cagara dance, sunbathing technique form master by his own friends, swordsman some people who have unique different swords blades. They’re very unique, such as a type that you hope for the accomplish with different techniques from a water Hashima.

After the first Boruto series ended, I started demon slayer and it was so refreshing. I love it.

Isn't it that those with demon slayer marks and black swords are targeted by Muzan because he understands such swordsmen have the potential to become the next Yoriichi?

Bladed will typically become the colour of your breathing style, black blades signify sun breathing, meaning those with black blades are suitable for sun breathing, although apart from Tanjiro, none of them knew them, and since their body was suited to sun breathing, they struggled to master other breathing styles, lack of mastery and being targeted resulted in them dying young, and cause people to think black blades were cursed

I understand now why Giyu and Sanemi still died at a young age after Muzan was vanquished. So this explains how strong Shinjuro is.

Reasons why Sengoku era was best 1. That was when breathing styles were taught. 2. That was when Yoriichi and Michikatsu were the strongest out of everyone 3. Actually it is not because the era's after Sengoku didn't awaken the mark Yorichi died. To awaken a mark a sun breathing user has to unlock it and the descendants of Sumiyoshi didn't even know that the Demon Slayer corps exist. When Tanjiro knew and unlocked the mark they had the chain reaction ❤

What's funny is that michikatsu likely wouldn't have died from his mark. He was yoriichi's twin, who we know lived to his 80s. And it's not like there was ever any proof of the demon slayer mark being lethal. People dying young during that period was already common. It could've just been an empty coincidence. So the fact that he became a demon to escape a danger that likely didn't exist is just beautiful irony

The only reason yorichi lived till old age was because he was born with the Demon Slayer Mark. Naturally his body might have adjusted to the enhancement. However the other Hashiras/Demon Slayers have awakened their marks due to presence of Yorichi. As such their body couldn't handle the strain caused to housing that much power in them. The prime example for this can be Gyomei himself. After Muzan died, he refused any treatment stating that it would be a waste of medications as he knew he would die because of the Mark. Note that he wasn't actually critically injured in any way that would kill him yet he stated he would die.

Muzan has complete control over them and can read their thoughts as well as kill them whenever he pleases. besides that just feels like wishfullfilment, why would only he get to become a demon while everyone else still dies at 25. what about his family who would still loose their dad/husband. why wouldn't Muzan just places?

This fight is like a game lol, Sanemi and Iguro we're the players and Muichiro was the final boss in which once you unlock him, he gets the biggest nerf you'll ever see (Sanemi is stronger than Muichiro but we can see Muichiro held against Sanemi with Iguro)

If I'm not correct the criteria to activate the mark is: -Heart Beat needs to be over 200 BPM -Human Temperature needs to be at 102 degrees -Has to have interacted with another demon mark user prior to the events of the two previous requirements

Yokushibo did not turn into a demon because of the mark, but because he was jealous of yoriichi’s power. That’s why he turned into a demon to become even stronger, but in the end still lost to yoriichi.

SPOILER WARNING **** It's truly amazing how broken the power scale was for humans versus demons. Yoriichi was the only one with hacks / no repercussions. Demons? Infinite regeneration - Infinite Stamina - Unlimited potential for stupid strong abilities - the ONLY condition was they couldn't be decapitated by a Nichirin Sword or get hit directly by sunlight. (I doubt that happened often except for Rui's fake family demons) On TOP of it, upper moons and Muzan have even more stupid strong abilities such as: Gyuutaro + Daki having to BOTH be decapitated at once, Hantengu having the 4 emotions + zohakuten + his resentment form that have ZERO consequence at being beheaded. Dude just has to hide while his stronger offense clones fight for him. THEN there's Akaza and Kokushibo (Potentially Doma if he wasn't poisoned by Shinobu's entire body weight of wisteria blood) who take it a step further and were capable of regenerating their heads when they were decapitated and FINALLY Muzan who had 7 different weak spots and could regenerate even if they're targeted specifically. He basically HAD to be held in sunlight to die and if a tiny piece of him escapes, he could fully regenerate. Humans? The 3 hacks which ONLY Yoriichi really unlocked were: Infinite stamina through sun breathing somehow. Enhanced Strength Through The Demon Slayer Mark. Access to the transparent world. We only really get to see Yoriichi and Tanjiro use sun breathing but Tanjiro sure as heck didn't have it down like Yoriichi / his dad who could dance all night despite being terminally sick. The Demon Slayer Mark kills you by the time you're 25 if you unlock it, Yoriichi was the only exception. Theeeen Transparent world, only Yoriichi, Michikatsu (Kokushibo), Tanjiro, and Gyomei unlock it. MAYBE you can say having a red blade is a slight hack since it has a stronger effect on demons to slow down regeneration but by the time everyone does it, it's only against Muzan which doesn't really change the battle which is purely an endurance battle to prevent him from escaping before sunrise.

Anybody ever thought that how strong were other demon slayers in sengoku era who defeated demons without breathing styles and only pure strength...💀
