An app called textnow on our pc gives us a free fake number. Well therefore we use a no log vpn for when feds request a request to the vpn they won’t be able to show who we are because of their no logs policy.

My school actually got swatted last year, the entire district. Somebody called in and claimed an active shooter was in the building and we went into lockdown for TWO HOURS. Most people figured something was up and we weren't actually in danger, but some people were genuinely afraid and scared. Swatting is actually horrible, and it's terrible it's going to this platform too. Nobody deserves to get swatted. When I said nobody deserves to get swatted, I meant falsely swatted. Obviously criminals need to be punished justly

I think something like this happened at my highschool the year before I went in. This was 2021 so a while back, and I didn't fully know what happened, but it was sometime right after March break and we could see a boatload of highschool students coming from the school to our location. We knew that in the case of a serious drill, certain segments of the highschool I attend are to split and make their way to other schools for refuge. Later in class I found out from a friend who had a sibling at the highschool that someone had claimed there was a gun being discharged in a washroom. This later was proved to be false. The people who do this shit don't deserve human rights.

i dont know why, but for some reason theres been a sudden influx of swattings/threats at my high school over the past few weeks and i live in Australia... which its not very common in australia. In the span of 2 weeks the school had been put into lockdown 3 times by bomb threats and surged by police to find anything.

There has been at least five times in my life where I think I needed to call Thanos

I 100% agree. SWATting attempts are equal to attempted first degree murder (first degree murder if the victim dies, which could get you life in prison), and misuse and abuse of 911

If the victim dies, the charge is upgraded to a Federal Death penalty regardless if it was committed on any state that would bar the application of it. On negligent cases, it would be based on investigation reports to determine the evidence. But at minimum is set to 10 years.

Because it's the reward system in our brains, if something goes wrong and it doesn't go our way we enter a state called rage where we let our anger out on things (people objects etc). I hope police are able to track locations of self reports and arrest them if a different location was given or it was fake.

My school got swatted once because of a false bomb report. We had no warning, no idea what was going on. I was in a classroom, so I didn't see any officers, but people in the cafeteria were confronted by armed police. It was absolutely terrifying.
