Yeah that light rail is so clutch. Park somewhere near the rail, away from the stadiums and just get outta there after the game is over in a reasonable amount of time. Fantastic for the fans and commuters.

It took me 3 hours to get home from the Ohio State and Penn State game this year. We stayed for the full game. We were in a parking garage for 2 hours. It was a mess. I had the thought what am I doing? I should have left with 5 mins left and we could have maybe gotten home in an hour. It was my first sporting event since Covid and my son wanted to stay for the full game.

I live in Hollywood. If I wanted to go to the All Star game last night, I would have driven to Echo Park and walked from there. For an event like that, there's no way I'm using stadium parking. For a regular season game it's doable though. FWIW, my roommate went to the Super Bowl at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood. He rode his bike. He actually works for the NFL, and works at Sofi, and he typically uses a combo of the bus and his bike to get there from Hollywood. If your willing to do stuff like that, you can get places way faster than in a car in LA.

I used to enjoy filling out the All-Star ballots when I was a kid, but I hated it when fans would just vote for their team's players. I always tried to vote for whoever was having the best season at his position, regardless of whether he played for my favorite team. I thought it was really unfair to the players to do otherwise. It actually used to make me mad when a player hitting .260 would be voted in over a guy hitting .320, assuming HR and RBI totals were in the same range.

It’s 20 bucks a car if u go the right parking lots. and traffic is not that bad. Go to a Mets game and deal with 25k Mets fans going down one highway. or a nationals game THAT DOESNT HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING LOT. U have to drive around for 45 minutes and try to find a parking garage. Philly is pretty great. Not many places have their own complex away from the rest of the city

It's not too far from LA to OC 30-40min. LA\OC Traffic 1hr+ is the freaking issue. I'm a Lifetime Dodgers Fan from OC. Used to go to dodgers game alot as a kid. Now Hell No. Worst traffic getting out of the stadium. I go to Angels games. The easiest and quickest leaving the stadium. So many ways to leave the stadium. And the main freeway that takes you to different counties next to the stadium. Anaheim Angels stadium getting in and out with no traffic. It's the best.
